Cute Sign But Lettering Doesn't Always Show Up
The HKDGVRTB RVers Prayer Camping Sign is a cute gift that would be great for anyone who owns an RV. My wife and I live full time in a motorhome, so I got the sign as a gag gift for her. The "prayer" on the sign is funny yet perfectly fitting for RVers, and the acrylic plaque and lettering are nicely done. The wooden base is rather plain; it is made of pine and does not have any kind of finish applied, but it is OK for a simple sign. The one problem I have with the sign is that the small black lettering is sometimes very hard to read on the clear plaque, depending on what is behind the plaque. If it is in front of a dark wall or something similar, it is almost impossible to read, while against a white background it is easy to read. The attached photos show the difference. We have put the piece of white foam that is the same size as the plaque and that came with it behind the plaque, which makes the letters show up clearly. The seller would do well to consider using a white background instead of the clear acrylic. I like the sign and the message on it, but because of the difficulty reading it I only give it four stars.
