They do a decent job of keeping the sun out and are of decent quality. The price was right, for sure! I use them in place of Venetian blinds, using metal hooks to attach them to the contraption that holds Venetian blinds. I found this idea on YouTube. It works quite well!
I needed a curtain to use as a room divider. I am very impressed with this curtain. It's a single panel (120" wide). I think I could have gone with a 84" instead of 96" height but the drape of the curtain is very pretty and luxurious so I kept it. I could have used another smaller panel but the 80" panel only comes in 84", not 96". That's kind of inconvenient. I may just leave it the way it is. The curtain has a rod pocket and back tabs but doesn't include any curtain clips, so be sure to order a set if you are planning to use this on a track.The material has a soft, silky feel. I can't attest to the effectiveness of its blackout feature but it does lower the incoming light of the adjacent room. It has a good thickness to it and does muffle some sound. I wouldn't say it will completely diffuse all sound coming from the other side, but it helps a little. The color is a nice muted beige, not a yellowish ivory at all. It goes well with my antique white walls. I was concerned that, given it's such a large size, there would be imperfections in the seams but everything looks even.I'm shopping for more curtains for other rooms and I will certainly try this brand again.
I purchased my first set of these HUGE black curtains to separate rooms in an open floorplan living/dining area. They are longer than our 8ft high ceilings, and have a small amount of floor drape. They have a smooth polyester feel, and are machine washable on cold and dry on low. I have also been looking for a decent headboard that didn't look funny when the head of our split king adjustable bed was at two different heights. I use two sets of these on an entire bedroom wall to hide the appearance of an oddly placed window and as a backdrop to the adjustable bed instead of a headboard. They black out about 95% of the sunlight enabling people who work night shifts or just want to sleep in to have it dark enough to do so. If the door is open and I walk past, the room is dark. If I need another set, I will purchase them yet again, maybe in a different color, or maybe black again.

I'm only giving 4 stars because the color didn't work for my room. I returned vs hanging, so I don't know how the hang quality is.
