I LOVE these curtains. It’s two in one. They blackout the sun completely, but if you want to let the sun in, you can tie up the blackout curtains and use the sheer overlay. The tie is attached to the sheer curtains. You simply untie the sheer ones, use the same ties and pull them around the blackout ones and now you have natural light shining through. I’ve received many compliments on my curtains and they also ask me to forward them the link so that they can also purchase the same kinds. In fact, my son was over last weekend and asked about them. I demonstrated the two-in-one options of blocking light and letting it through and he was impressed. Also, just want to say that I purchased the longest ones so that I could hang them literally from ceiling to floor. That way gives your home a very regal and opulent look with these specific curtains! I chose the white-on-white and I’m very happy with how modern and aesthetic it makes my rooms and living area look. These curtains make a beautiful addition to my work room. Super thick, Blocked out the sun and helps keep out the heat. Today it is 107 degrees outside and you can’t feel the heat from the sun through them. I know your wondering why I only gave a 4 star and thats because the seems and the cut of fabric isn’t straight. That’s the one and only complaint I have with this product. They are super easy to install and are soft to the touch. Extremely pricey but color and product quality of fabric is very ice. The ties you can either use them to tie the sheer panels together or leave them down for a more solid look.

Light blocking feature WORKS with Seafoam color!

Update 10/18/24: These curtains are still fabulous. I have two sets, one for the baby's room (two curtains to one window) and one for the primary bedroom (one curtain on each of two windows). They are beautiful curtains, still love the color, the length, and the light-blocking feature. I've had them for over a year now and would choose them again.Original review: I just got a set of these green curtains with sheer overlay for our bedroom since we will be having a new baby "room in" soon. They are a beautiful color--the fabric feels quality and is heavy. I tried two curtains on one curtain rod but they are wide enough that I can put just one curtain on each rod as well, and the dimming feature still works. This morning it was hard to get out of bed because the room was so much more dim than usual! Note that these will NOT make the room completely dark because light escapes from around the sides of the curtains as it will with pretty much any curtain, and these are (after all) not black and don't have a black backing. If you really wanted to make the effort, you could probably add one without too much trouble (I would probably just duct tape some black fabric to the back of the green if I cared as the green is so thick that I wouldn't be worried about anyone seeing the black through it). I am very pleased. The curtains took a few weeks to arrive but I would buy again.
