Great product!! Very easy to install.
Easy to install. Works very well.
Yes. It met my need. It will go long as far you need.
Fit and finish is very nice. That said is very flexible in a bad way. The description Gabe me the idea that it was heavy duty and very rigid. It needs all three supports to stay remotely strait. I bought this for sliding glass door with the thought it would handle a one piece curtain. This will not work that way. The curtain was fairly light and it still dropped an 1.5" in the middle. It assembled very nice and all parts where there and the direction were easy to follow.
Great and sturdy
It’s what i expected and more. I will definitely order more
I bought this rod to put in a stairwell to hang a curtain in order to block heat from going up the stairs. It will work well for that or in any window. This heavy duty, 1”curtain rod is an interesting design comprised of 6 sections for the size I ordered—5 obvious pieces and one inside piece C that telescopes out. I ordered the one that says “adjusts 48” to 84” but when choosing, it says “32” to 86”. The minimum length when I assembled it was 34.5”, including finials. If you leave off the finials, that would take about 3” off. I did not measure the rod fully assembled, as I only need it with the two pieces—but I wish I had ordered the maximum size since I do have a huge picture window and someday may want to use the rod there; due to the sectional design, larger sizes would still fit my small space but be adjustable to my largest window! That’s a versatility I like and makes it a good buy!I have one concern on quality, and that’s the plastic pieces that help the sections stay together snugly. I wonder if they will hold up long term, but I believe they will for some years, but I just don’t know. I wonder if heavier curtains will cause more stress. The instructions say this rod is good for up to 30 lbs.It took me a bit to figure out, but to adjust the size, in addition to the telescoping piece inside section C, you add or omit the A pieces—there are three of those, so for minimum length, use only pieces B and C; for additional length, add one to three of the A sections in between B and C. (Longer rods have even more of section A.). My length came with three sturdy curtain rod brackets plus a bag of screws, the plastic pieces that help the screws stay in drywall (sorry I don’t know the correct term), a phillips head allen wrench, and two mysterious black, cheap pieces of circular plastic that look like cheap cuffs but have no practical use that I can see, and a page of drawings for directions that don’t tell you a whole lot, but it really is simple. I looked at other reviewers’ photos and figured out the assembly. As another reviewer mentioned, a couple of pieces didn’t want to go together, but tweaking the position of the plastic pieces that slide inside the open ends of other pieces will allow them to go together easily. The hidden telescoping piece inside of C can also interfere until it extends out of C a couple of inches. The instructions do point out that the sliding (telescoping) section needs to have at least 2” still inside of piece C in order for the rod to maintain its sturdiness.I like the curtain rod, well enough that I decided to give it 5 stars instead of taking off 1 star because of the plastic pieces.
