Slippery Covers for Playful Cats

Similar to other slipcovers I’ve tried, these protect from messes but move around with active cats. The fabric is soft, quilted but thin, and the straps aren’t enough to hold them in place under constant activity. They're certainly adequate for light use, they look nice, and are definitely waterproof, but not durable enough for more playful households.

VERY SOFT, DOESN'T COLLECT LONG CAT FUR, NOT HOT AND SWEATY, HIGH QUALITY

This couch cover has relieved me from feeling sticky and hot and cut back on the amount of accumulated fur that my two Siberian cats leave behind when they sleep on the couch! The couch is made of a polyester corduroy fabric that I have never liked. I bought it many years ago to replace a relic that was in the family season vacation cabin. The price was right, it fit the space in the living room and I could fit it in and on top of my suv! But for the past year, this is my permanent home and something had to change to make this a more tolerable place for me to hang out on!When I saw this formation and then the color I went right into figuring out the best size to order. The fitting was a little off so I kind of guessed at what I thought would work best. This was the right size for me to be able to tuck in between the cushions and have enough overhang in most of the areas to hide a decent amount of the brown corderoy fabric underneath. This shade of blue picks up some of the grayish blue color that’s in the rug that had been faded away before I put this on! It also helps tie together the brown wood floor, the gray stone fireplace with Its black accents and the rug that has all those colors in it! I’m really pleased with how it looks, how I was able to adjust the fit and how it feels!One never knows how a synthetic fabric is going to feel against your skin and whether or not it will make you hot and sweaty. I crossed my fingers, felt nothing could be worse than what I already had and felt the color would be worth it as long as it wasn’t plastic feeling😂 This is indeed soft! Semi velvety feeling, almost like a longer hair microfiber? I had a microfiber couch that the cat fur didn’t collect onto easily and when it did, just wiped away with your hand. My one Siberian doesn’t shed that must outside of season but the other does year round. This cover isn’t accumulating his fur nearly as much as the couch was so that is awesome! On top of the soft feeling of the material, even with the days being hot and humid, I feel so much more comfortable on this than I did sweating on the couch material. It’s a little surprising being that it is lined on the underside with a plastic type material. It looks to be of a higher quality that you find on the more expensive mattress protectors that tend to not create a hot, sweaty environment. I think this is something notable about this cover. There are so many things about this cover that make it well worth every penny you spend on purchasing it! I am not going to purposely spill something on it to test out whether or not it will keep my couch dry, I will assume it will for the most part! I didn’t get it for that reason, it’s keeping the cat fur off my couch, it’s beautified my living room and I’m no longer sweating when I relax on my couch! So I highly recommend this cover for purchase👍👍

Easy setup and washing

Ideal for use when you have kids. They’re soft, comfortable, and easy to wash. They install easily and I do have them wedged into my sectional with the straps attached but they still wiggle out of place on occasion (I removed one star for this).
