It's a good balance of price and quality. You certainly can't expect them to be as sleek as those over a hundred bucks each frame. But They holds the pictures Just fine and looking from a distance You can't really see much difference from an expensive frame.I DIY'd mat so it holds 8by8
For the past few months or so, I’ve been keeping my eyes open for the perfect frames for these vintage owl pictures I had bought off Amazon in a pack of 6 which are to decorate my baby’s room. I had previously ordered some frames made out of engineered wood. Not happy with the quality at all, they looked super fake and didn’t love the tone of wood. So I returned them and upped my budget, hoping I would find real wood in my budget and in the right tone of brown. Boy, haus and hues did not disappoint! Got the brown oak (walnut) frames in 2 packs of 3 ( there was a deal if I buy 2). They arrived on time and in great shape. Very nicely packaged and wrapped. There were no scratches or damage of any kind. Each frame was individually wrapped and there were protective films on both sides of the plexiglass. By the way, I am not even upset about the fact these frames come with plexiglass. It’s super clear, and thicker than what I was expecting. I even questioned one moment if it was plexiglass or actually glass. Being that it’s in a babys room I don’t mind the plexiglass because if one of the pictures were to fall, glass wouldn’t shatter all over the place and create a safety issue for the baby who’s room is carpet. I feel like for me it’s a safe choice. Although, that being said… for the price point I would expect to have glass in these frames. My pictures fit the frames perfectly and installation went quickly. The closures on the back that keep the pictures in the frames are very nice and easy to use. Can’t wait to do a gallery wall of all 6 pictures in the frames on one wall of my baby’s room. One last thing- these frames don’t come with matting. Kind of a bummer. I was a little worried my pictures would look less nice because they wouldn’t have any matting, but I don’t miss it at all. The pictures look amazing in these frames. Anyway, couldn’t be happier, and will definitely order more haus and hues frames. They were worth the wait for sure.

The minimalist design of this frame is good for showcasing my favorite artwork without distracting from the piece itself. However, I was disappointed to find that the frame is thinner than I expected, making it feel a bit flimsy. Despite this, the frame still holds up well and feels secure when hanging on the wall.One drawback of this frame is its high price point. Although the design is warm and stylish, the quality of the frame does not match the cost. I have seen similar frames at a lower price that offer the same level of quality. Additionally, while the frame is advertised as being able to hold a 12x16 picture, it is important to note that the actual visible area of the frame is slightly smaller than this size due to the width of the frame itself.Overall, the Haus and Hues 12x16 Picture Frame is a decent option for those looking for a minimalist design with a natural oak finish. However, be aware of its thinner build and higher price point. If you are willing to pay the extra cost for the aesthetic appeal, then this frame may be suitable for your needs. Otherwise, there are comparable options available at a lower price point, in my opinion.
This is a solid frame for me. I was looking for a natural wood frame to start putting up around the house which matches the clean black and whites and nacho woods aesthetic that I’ve been cultivating which gets accepted by all the various plants so the wood looks really nice with green plant accents around it. I like that this is a three pack. The price is a bit steep, but you can tell that the wood is real wood as opposed to some type of composite or Like you know those kind of woodwork is like shredded sawdust that they just glue together. This is not that this is real wood, so I’m really happy about that. There was really easy to open the back and put my print in the only thing that I think might make this better. Well there’s two things that one thing is that it doesn’t come with a mat so you’re kind of left. You either make your own that or find a print that is 11 x 17 to fill up the frame completely. The other thing that would make this better is the plexiglass cover is really reflective. It has like very glossy look to it, which is good for transparency, but no matter where I stand I can always see your reflection on the frame which gets in the way of appreciating the print that’s inside Which I don’t love but because I’m putting this in the bathroom, I have to leave the plexi glass on cause I don’t want the moisture in the bathroom too mess up the print so that’s all over. I like the brand I think if I were to get more wooden frames, I would probably continue to go with this house and use brand I was this is me trying it out and I’m pretty happy with it. The color of the wood also looks very natural. It doesn’t have dislike weird stained look which I’ve seen other wooden frames that I’ve ordered
Beautiful & very easy to hang. Came with a hanging guide which was pretty cool!I didn’t realize but it is not glass, it’s a plexiglass which is fine! It just tends to catch more reflections I feel but it’s still so beautiful. Very solid too! Lightweight enough that I don’t worry about it falling, perfect for what I needed it for. Perfect size as well! It came with hanging hardware ready to go too. I used it for a watercolor painting I did recently.
It’s a great build and doesn’t look cheap
