Best candles out there!

Wow!!! This candle and brand are amazing. So far, I’ve tried Josephine and Speakeasy and I am so impressed with both. I placed a massive order on their website for more. The scents are complex and beautiful. I’ve really never smelled anything quite as lovely. I use my candle warmer daily and have a large collection of candles, but I now only want to burn Harlem Candle Co candles. I was so hesitant to purchase because of the cost. I do have some other candles that are higher priced that I got on sale half price and like them, so I’m familiar with a wide range of prices. I think these candles are on point. I will definitely be purchasing again and again. Josephine is a beautiful light and classy powdery scent- with a touch of pepper. It’s blended so well. This is my new favorite candle.

Beautiful scent

First things first, I love the whole aesthetic. The quality in the packaging, the jar and scent are really superb and a whole vibe. When you spend a little extra on something like a candle, you want it to feel like a treat. It did that for me.The scent itself is good; much better when burning. At first it smelled like tootsie rolls to me since it’s heavy on the chocolate notes, but it marries well with the other ones. It gives off a warm, relaxing vibe and I like lighting it at night for this reason. The throw is great as well; I can smell it nearby on the table unlit and once I light it up it fills my space easily.The only thing I dislike is how overwicked it is, meaning the wicks burn way too hot. Even with frequent trimming very low (1/8”) the flame starts to get pretty tall and burn very hot after 30 minutes. This definitely isn’t a candle you want to accidentally leave burning for an extended time or fall asleep to or I worry it’d crack the glass.

The wicks disappeared

For a candle that is 52.00 I had hoped for more! The smell is beautiful. Has a great throw. But half way through the burning time the wicks were non existent. I trimmed them after every burn. It’s Oprah’s favorite candle. What happened? Are there any good candles out there?
