I purchased this for my daughter and her husband for Christmas. It is very sturdy and well made. It should last a lifetime.I also purchased the emotions one for my granddaughter. It is also very well made.
This is a fun item to have around the house. The quality of workmanship of the maple wooden box is fantastic! The bible verses are color coded by mood, which is great because if you are experiencing anxiety or sadness or… you can just go to the color on the legend on the top of the box then pull out a verse that relates to the corresponding color of verses in the box. A wooden fidget cross is included in the set. This is a favorite cross of mine… I often keep the fidget cross in my pocket so that if I must stand in line for something, I can fidget with it in my pocket, or when I pray, I fidget with it.The only downside to the set that I see, is that I expected the bible verses to be on better quality card stock, a little larger with some sort of design and coating or lamination on the card. They are printed on plain colored cardstock, I’m not sure how long they will last with multiple users in the family. We’ll see. I may laminate them myself to preserve them.😃In summary, I do recommend this Handmade Wooden Bible Verse Box with Prayer Cross. The design of the bible cards need improvement. It would be a nice gift for anyone, especially to someone going through tough times.
We love this. We actually put this on our dinner table and at dinner each of us pull out a verse (randomly) and we read it out loud. It's great for discussions and family unity. I actually took this a step further and typed up each of our messages into one of the AI models and asked it for an overarching message based on the 5 verses randomly selected. It was a great idea and was very special for us. The verses come on color coded paper with the message AND the verse itself.PROS: Beautiful wood box. 150 color coded bible verses.

This little box of Scripture cards is lovely and inspirational. I enjoy choosing my "verse of the day" from the 150 cards included in the box. I reach in, pull one out, read it, meditate on it for a few moments, and consider how it applies to my current situation. Many times I am led to read the passage in my Bible that scripture verse was taken from, leading to greater insight and better understanding.The wooden box is nicely made, the scripture verses are printed in bold font on lightweight cardstock, so they're easy to read.
I expected more. I at least thought they would fill up the box, but they don't. Still, it is a great way to work on memorizing verses or picking out what you need in the moment to read. The cross is a nice touch. Overall, I like the handmade box. I would have liked for there to be enough verses to fill up the box.Update: I am glad they did not fill up the box. It would have made it hard to pick out the color of the card. I love that you can easily grab a card with the Word of God when you need it most. If you are sad, lonely, angry, anxious, happy, or thankful, there is the Word of God in this box for you. Great gift for any occasion.
