Pretty, organic, and well-made!
These are pretty candles, and extremely well-made! They're very sturdy and substantial -- they stand up on their own (without being placed in a candleholder) because the base of this candle is so thick, and the bottom is flat and even.The color is attractive, too. It has a nice organic vibe -- which is what one would expect out of 100% beeswax. The shorter length means they can go in a votive holder and still look nice -- which is good because the holder in the wall sconce I'd intended to put these in is a bit too narrow. In other words, these candles won't fit in a standard taper candle-sized holder. So just be aware of that before ordering. There may be a tool that can carve out the bottom to fit a narrower holder (I know I had a tool like that once -- almost like a pencil sharpener -- and I may see about finding another one for these candles!). In any case, the candles are still able to be used in a different way because of their sturdiness, so I'm happy with them.I really appreciate the fact that this is a pure beeswax candle for the clean burning factor, as well. I'm not at all sensitive to typical candles, but anything I can do to not introduce additional toxins into my home is welcome.Overall, I feel that these candles are a great value at their price, and well worth having!

Clean Burn, Great Stability, Excellent Value - What's not to love?
I am a candle lover. I have them burning every day as I work from home. I love creating a vibe with them, and I find it very relaxing. I typically want unscented, otherwise it can become overwhelming after a while. I either use unscented or essential oil scented. Never fragrance oil.I’ve not tried these stubby tapers before and thought they looked interesting. The 7-hour burn time is fantastic. I’m halfway through the first two and have burned them for about three hours so far, and they’re tracking right on target to reach the full burn time.The scent immediately told me they’re real beeswax. Cheaper beeswax candles with filler usually give themselves away because there’s no scent at all straight out of the box. True beeswax has that warm, unmistakable smell.I love that you can put these on almost any base. That’s real candle freedom. I’m so used to buying yet another holder for different types that don’t come in glass containers. These are stable, too. No wobbling.For the burn time, the quality of the wax, and the flexibility in how and where you display them, the price for this 4-pack at the time of this review is $15, which is excellent when you consider I pay $20 for ONE 9 oz candle in a jar.

Rustic Look and Slight Smoky Scent
Out of the box, these had a slightly smoky beeswax scent that I found a bit unpleasant at first, though it was much less noticeable once the candle was lit. They look a bit rustic in person and lean more farmhouse or primitive than minimalist aesthetically. In my opinion they are a little bit too big for Shabbat candles, if you're thinking of using them for that purpose.So far, the candle I’ve burned has performed well without dripping. The main challenge for me was display — these didn’t fit standard taper holders, so I ended up placing one in an old glass bottle to burn. They may also work in a foil-lined metal lantern or on a plate, but it took more effort than expected to secure one upright using melted beeswax in a glass vessel.Overall, they function as expected, but may require some creativity when it comes to displaying them.

Beautiful and Healthy Candles
These candles are a winning combination of ingredients and performance. There are four in this set of natural 100% beeswax candles that measure 4.4" by 1.4". They are than natural golden beeswax color and smell like honey when burning. It's surprising how little wax is lost during burning and how long these candles burn.I stopped using candles made of other materials because for fragrance and ingredient concerns but I missed the atmosphere that candles create. These not only create atmosphere they improve the air quality around you. Their long burning and all natural, that is perfect for me to find these a value.I placed these candles on a large decorative plate. They stand on their own because of their larger base diameter. They stand alone and make a lovely display when they are burning or not. I love this set and I am sold on beeswax as the best candle material.

if you like clean simple and natural products rather than glitzed up, fake perfumed items, these candles are for you. They are simply wonderful. The candles are very hefty in weight, are pure beeswax, no perfume, no dirty smoke. They burn slowly as a thick heavy beeswax candle should so there's a lot of hours of candle light in this package of 4 candles. I just love the beautiful simplicity of these. They are carefully packaged in a box with tissue around each candle so they arrived in perfect condition, no dings at all. I can't think of a single way to improve on these if you, like me, appreciate beauty in a perfectly made natural item. Highly recommended.

Smells so good
Smells deliciously like honey and burns very cleanly. We burned ours for at least an hour and barely had any candle missing by the time we blew it out! Very little dripping and the candles stand upright on their own. Beautiful as is or would make a nice base for decorating.
