For The Ladies Who Love Handbags
I got this for my wife because she loves candles and will never say no to nice purse. It came just in time for Valentine’s Day and would make for a cute gift for any occasion (or even just a nice surprise for no reason at all). Plus, I’m a sucker for a good pun and I loved the name of “Haute Mess”I had her do the unboxing and beyond the cute looks she loved the scent of the candle. It was incredibly fragrant from the moment she opened the box while we were filming the videoBetween the high quality of the candle itself, as well as the packaging, I thought it was a great value for the price. cute design, HQ candle~ smells nice!
This is a really cute gimmick-shape candle that feels solid and smells very nice! The whole thing is a fairly large & chunky, wax candle with one wick, as shown in the product listing photos. The attached double handles are woven with a pleather and metal and imo it looks really classy! It's also just a pretty convincing mini purse design when it's not lit! There's a cute embossed HM ('Haute Mess') logo on the front which I thought was a nice touch. Really, the overall sculpt of the candle looks great without any flaws out of the package. The gift box it came in is a really nice touch with a little ribbon design. I do think this would make such a cute gift for any high fashion or chic person in your life. I'm actually holding off on burning/warming it for a while because it just looks so great as a display piece, resting on a decorative plate. Even without burning it, the scent is pretty strong when you are near. It is perfumy without being too overpowering~ I think it smells really good! Would recommend, the quality of the candle itself, the pretty scent, and fun design really make this feel like a high value gift.

Gorgeous Packaging and Cute Idea but the Scent and Practicality Weren't My Favorite
I chose this candle because the handbag design was just too cute to pass up, and the listing photos made the packaging look really high-end. And honestly, the presentation is beautiful in person. It comes in a sleek gift box with an actual ribbon tied around it, so it really does feel special and ready to give.Once I opened it, though, the scent wasn’t quite what I expected. To me, it smells like a very strong hotel soap — clean, but a little sharp. Scent is personal, so someone else might love it, but it didn’t really suit me.The design itself is adorable, and the straps actually have real material woven through metal chain links. They aren’t wax. That makes them look more realistic, but it also made me a bit nervous about burning it for very long. Since the straps sit so close to the top, I kept imagining them softening or getting too close to the flame as the candle burns down. For me, it feels more like a novelty décor piece than something I’d burn all the way through.It’s definitely pretty and giftable, especially for someone who loves fashion-themed décor, but the scent and the way it’s constructed just didn’t match my personal preferences.

Cute, detailed looking candle
This is completely not my cup of tea, but I didn't get it for me to enjoy. I got this for my office Christmas gift exchange. It was a risk because I had no clue who would end up with it, but it was cute for what it is and kinda funny too, depending on who got it. As it turned out, the girl who got it loved it. She loved the look; it's a very detailed and nice-looking candle, and she loved the scent of the candle. It's perfect for what it is for the right people.
