It's gorgeous

Exactly as pictured. It was triple wrapped. I had to air it out because the rug felt a little damp but that could be condensation from the wool because it's made in India and shipped to a cooler region so don't let it stay in the packaging longer than necessary. It's a gorgeous rug and I wished I bought an even larger one. The picture shows wrinkles in it but this was taken immediately after unwrapping it. Once the wool acclimated to my area and two vacuuming later, it lays flat. I know the content is wool but I'm not so sure the tiger motif is because it feels like a synthetic fiber. Either way I'm happy with my purchase and will be a little more gentle on that portion of the rug. Shipping was so fast. I've ordered from overseas before and was expecting to have to wait a month or more to get it thru customs but it came in less than two weeks. It's was triple wrapped and came rolled around a bamboo pole which I'm now up cycling into a curtain rod. A win win.

I was nervous to order this rug with the few reviews listed. I had the Anthropology rug that was similar pinned for a long time, but that one was sold out and extraordinarily expensive.I am so glad that we ordered this instead! I literally never leave reviews but felt like I had to, other people need to know how lovely it is.It is well made, very soft under foot, thick but not too thick- you know some rugs look beautiful in photos, but end up being thin and plastic feeling, this one isn't that at all!It is true to color in the photos and absolutely gorgeous in person. If I had to nit-pick, I wish the pink was a bit brighter, it is a very soft/dusty pink and I'd prefer a more true pink. The orange is bright, the rest of the colors are more toned down.I saw another post that the rug came a bit damp. This one had quite a few silica gel packets inserted, which alleviated any moisture in the rug. No weird smells, either.I'm completely obsessed with the quality and will definitely be ordering from this brand again!
