This rug is absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. It looks just like the one from PB - when I felt the sample at the store, I couldn’t believe it because I think this is maybe better quality, it’s definitely softer. Arrived earlier than expected. Smell upon unraveling but that’s to be expected- aired it out with windows open for a few hours and it’s gone. Some shedding but also to be expected. Highly recommend!
This is such a good PB dupe! The rug is high quality. It's handmade wool from India. It's very soft. I don't need a rug pad, but I imagine it'd feel even more incredibly soft using one. The rug has varying shades of blue with a nice cream. This is my most favorite Amazon purchase! I was so close to spending double the price, but decided to take a chance. I'm so glad that I did! I'm planning to buy another rug from this company. I'm so impressed with the quality!! Bonus pts- it's dog approved!! I've already cleaned up dog vomit. It didn't leave a stain. So far, it's not shedding much.
Capitola is a great looking rug and nice quality. However do not get a stain on it or try to get it cleaned, brownish, yellowish large areas develop and the rug is unusable. The rug is defective as it is wool and cleanable. The seller is uncooperative and does nothing. No replacement or refund. Total loss.
Great rug!Very similar style to Pottery Barn.There’s a little bit of a maybe chemical smell when you take it out of the bag, but I guess I sort of expected that. I think it’ll probably fade. It feels like a quality rug. It feels good to walk on too.
I have been waiting to review this to see if some of the issues would subside, but after almost 2 months of ownership, they have not. When I first received the rug, it was very wrinkly. I assumed this would flatten out with time and while it has a bit, there are still visible wrinkles and bumps. Also this rug sheds like crazy. The description says shedding will subside overtime but after two months, it is still unbearable. Every time I vacuum it, my vacuum is filled in the first five minutes. And puffs of wool develop all over the rug that I’m constantly picking off. Also, the color has more yellow tones than the Pottery Barn one. Overall, I like the look so I am dealing with the issues, but wishing I had just spent the money for the pottery barn version.
Great rug! Only thing I was not expecting is that it’s all loop. Pictures show that the blue is a cut and cream is loop. Not the case. Wearing well!
Yall this is absolutely the same rug as the Pottery Barn one (I compared it to the sample I have from PB). It’s SO pretty and holy moly it shipped fast! It’s was processing out of Paris yesterday and showed up on my doorstep in Virginia today!! The pile is nice and the color is a lovely light blue. Rug is wrinkled in photo because I just unrolled it and it needs to lay out for a bit.
