They really work!!! Beautiful & functional!

These curtains are truly awesome! I am so very glad I made this purchase! This is my first night of having them hung up, so far they are fantastic! I have purchased several “black out” curtains and none have worked... until now. I even have installed the faux wood shades that didn’t work well either.I moved into a new home several months ago, and I have a parrot that lives & sleeps in the same room where I needed the good, room darkening curtains.My next door neighbor has a HUGE & very BRIGHT halogen “street light” type lamp on the side of his house (which is the side my parrot lives.) This light is insane! I don’t even use my outside lights because his lights up most of my front and back yard! I don’t use night lights in this room, as there has always been LOTS of night light, from the extra bright “electric sun” he has going over there. I can’t complain because it does make the outside feel much more safe and secure with such a bright light.But...My bird is a bit spoiled and he requires total darkness when he sleeps. If he can see any light he screams & fusses until I make it dark for him. I do cover him up but the light was still keeping him awake.Also, his window is on the east side of the house, so the morning sunlight always shines in and wakes him up early. I work nights, so I usually try to sleep until 9-10am, if possible.Well... today I hung the new curtains... and I was totally shocked when I turned off the lights in the house that the room was almost pitch black!!! There is a small amount of light coming in at The top of the curtains but it is amazing how dark it is & how I cannot see that bright light from next door at all!!!I am almost excited to see how late he sleeps in the morning!These curtains are going to make everything so much better (and darker!)The material is very nice and really feels like a high quality material. It is sort of silky on the back.I wasn’t sure if I would like the “foil” feathers but I think they look really good against the black material. They are also pretty heavy and I am sure they will help keep out winter’s cold air.I will try to update this post if anything changes but right now I am 100% happy with this purchase.If you need black out curtains that really do block the outside light, Don’t hesitate, these really do what the company says they do!(Please keep In mind that I am not sure if the other colors will do as well as the black does.)Thank you for making a beautiful & functional set of curtains at a fair price! 😊

Stunning Color and Design!!

These are the most beautiful drapes I have ever purchased on line. The color sage is an easy neutral. The subtle branches of silver foil catch the light perfectly. The fabric is surprisingly light and soft. I had to double check to see if these were in fact light blocking and yes, they are perfect for my sun room doors. I have been looking for drapes in much higher price ranges and none could equal these for color and design. I highly recommend a purchase. I am a new fan of the color Sage.

Better blackout than others.

I originally bought a different Chinese brand of this star print because I wanted rod pocket and not grommets. I wasn’t happy with how bright the room still was in full sun, especially compared to the curtains in my bedroom that are this brand, so I got them even though I didn’t want grommets. It’s a huge difference between the two in blackout quality, you can see this curtain is the one with grommets on the right. Once I fully replaced the first ones I’d gotten with these, the room was significantly darker on the child-you-just-need-to-nap-now scale. I wish they had a rod pocket option, it’s harder for mischievous littles to open. Also, the grommets that came in it are a bronze color, and really don’t match the curtain. High marks for the blackout quality, low for the grommets.

If you are torn between the gray and charcoal, get the charcoal!

I needed total blackout curtains in our bedroom after years of having semi-light blocking curtains, we have a baby who I nurse to sleep in the room several times a day now and we need it to be dark.
