Heavy Weight Curtains

I was very impressed by how thick these curtains are. Too thick almost ... very heavy honestly. When I went to wash them upon receiving them, they threw my washing machine off balance like crazy. They were so crazy heavy! WOW. Wash them one at a time. They hold the heat in very well, they are extremely insulating. They are very good quality & well made, no loose threads, perfect hems. I only use one curtain because they are so heavy. The color is nice, very neutral & matches or coordinates with any decor motif. I do recommend these, just be careful because of their weight

Ordered this Pair of Velvet 100% Blackout Curtains Thermal Insulated W/Metal Grommets - 55" X 84" - for my bedroom. I've recently started sleeping in our 3rd bedroom because of some health issues and on a new different mattress as I'm up and down at night and also wife works days and gets up very early. We've just had a thin pair of curtains in this bedroom and the bright daylight was keeping me from completing a decent nights sleep.Recently while shopping online for some better (thicker) type curtains that would block more light out, I saw thispair of nice looking velvet curtains that has a corduroy stripped design and was reading about them. After reading that they were full light blocking curtains & thermal insulated, and come with metal grommets to hang them on our single bedroom window, along with the fair price, I placed my order. Love these nice curtains. I like the soft and smooth texture of the corduroy velvet material. Also like that they not only block lots of light, but they will completely "black out" all light during the day!. I ordered the 55"x84" and they fit great on the window.They good strong metal built in grommets will last many years to come. The Stone color looks good in my room and matches the rest of the decor and paint. I must say that these are a better grade material curtain than I originally thought and that makes me very happy. I've also noticed my bedroom is warmer as they also serve as a bit of insulation and keep some of the cold winter air out. I do recommend these as the quality really shows and they work and fit good, and look great. Happy with order

Velvet feel with a corduroy texture!

Here is my review of the 100% Black out Curtains from Hyversalex.These curtains came with 2 panels.Each panel measured 55" x 84"—so 110" x 84" in total. The curtains have 1.6" grommets for hanging. They are silver in color.The color on the website is sage. I find the curtains to be a very light sage. Maybe even a little mint-colored. I like that the back of the curtains is white. A lot of blackout curtains come with a black back, and I don't care for that look.On the listing, they are described as velvet curtains. They feel soft, but I wouldn't say they're velvet. They have a ribbed texture like corduroy. They are very soft. I do like their design.They do block out all the light when closed.  I cannot sleep if I can see light in the room! These curtains do an excellent job of blocking light.It also helps to save energy and keep noise levels down.The Curtains meet the Okeo-Tex Standards. Essential feature for me. That standard requires that the product be free of 1,000 chemicals that could harm your health.They are machine washable in cold water and tumble-dry on delicate, low heat. I like this company's products. They are always well-made, stitching is always done well, and the product is always the correct size. Measurements are spot on. If you're looking for a deep sage color, this is not it. If you're looking for a very light sage, you can't go wrong with these curtains, and you won't be disappointed with the features they offer—definitely a 5-star product.
