Beautiful, and very easy to install

This curtain rod is so versatile! I am not used to having this much leeway with installation. I got it for a small narrow window, but the fact that it can go from 16 inches all the way to 90 is just awesome! I am keeping the extra pieces in case I want to move this to one of my larger windows later. It was incredibly easy to install. The inclued screws were a lot longer than what I needed for my wood window frames, so I switched them out with shorter screws, but I would definitely recommend using the longer screws and drywall inserts if you're not installing the holders directly on wood or into a stud. It looks georgeous, and I love the oversized knobs. The brushed silver color went perfectly with my linen curtains and wallpaper. The rod is strong, and very high quality, and a third holder is included for when I want to install it on a longer window. Honestly, this is one of the best deals I've seen for curtain rods.

Plastic finals and thin aluminum rod sections

Not a high quality curtain rod. It comes in multiple sections that screw together. The finals are painted plastic. It has been so cold this winter I want to put up some thermal drapes along the door wall. I think this rod will hold up for at least one season. If my idea brings down the electric bill then I will use the technique next year but maybe with a sturdier rod. This rod pretty much demands a pocket sleeve to hide the joins on the rod. Other styles will show the section joints and screw markings. It may be possible to use another type of drape that will not highlight the screw in joints. Personally I think the pocket style drape will be better at keeping the cold out but I still not impressed with the pole’s quality. The metal rod seems very thin. For the price there are surely better options. I will use it for this winter but likely will upgrade to a brushed chrome/steel rod, not a painted rod like this one. I recommend looking for a pole with longer sections and made of sturdy metal. This light weight pole may be an option for someone in an apartment or on a very tight budget if it saves on the electric bill, it is not produced with long term use in mind.

Beautiful and sturdy metal curtain rod with fancy shape end caps

This curtain rod is a great length and can be adjusted by adding or taking parts away. It assembles easy by just screwing each piece together and just measuring against your window to see how long and how many part you will need for the assembly. It looks nice with a very fancy end cap on the rod. I didn't even look at the instructions as it was pretty self evident what was needed to put it together. I love the look and sturdiness of the rod and the price was perfect for such a nice black matte rod.

Cheap and cheesy, hard pass

It's in 6 pieces. Yes, it's easy to assemble but 6 pieces? Come on. All 6 pieces weigh under 2lb 12 oz.When I opened the box and felt how light the pieces are, and felt them, I actually couldn't decide if they are metal or plastic. A magnet sticks, so they're metal. They're just the thinnest metal I've seen short of a pop can. They're incredibly thin and so cheap and cheesy. And they look cheap and cheese. They're not at all sturdy.

Not the highest quality

I ordered this curtain rod for a room I'm redecorating. I have to say, I'm not thrilled with it. It will work, but if this was in a high-traffic area of the house and not in a bedroom, it would not.It's a good size and does seem pretty stable, so that's good. But the finish is not great. The gold color looks a little cheap, and more importantly, the paint coating is not even throughout, and it scratches VERY easily.Also, I guess I didn't realize this from the listing, but the majority of this curtain rod does not telescope. It has multiple short sections you screw together - and either add/remove sections to adjust your length. Not the end of the world, except that the way they screw together is the metal tube actually has the screw threads imprinted on it - so it's very visible from the outside. You have visible screw threads in the metal about every 15 inches or so. Only the last small section telescopes so you can dial in that last bit of length and aren't stuck only with 15 inch increments.The hanging hardware was good quality and easy to do. It came with the anchors and screws you need.It's currently priced at $36 which I guess is pretty cheap for a good sized curtain rod... Just be aware of what you're getting, it might be worth it to spend more on a different one.
