Good for temporary or light use

I ordered this curtain rod in the 6. 2 - 59.4 inch length in the color white. The assembly/installation is straightforward. There are three tubes that screw together and then there is one telescoping tube that basically just sits inside the other tube and can be adjusted by sliding it back and forth. There is no way to secure it in place at any particular length (you can also use less tubes if you need it to be shorter). The quality is just okay. The finials are just molded solid white plastic, but from a distance, I guess they look all right - although they are surprisingly heavy compared to the rods. The tubes are thin and lightweight, which is fine if you're using a shorter length and/or lightweight curtains, but I'm not sure how sturdy they would be otherwise. You can also clearly see where they are screwed together if you are using tab curtains or sheers. Overall I'd say these are decent quality for a temporary application, or somewhere where they won't get a lot of use or a close look. If you are looking for something more sturdy that is going to hold heavy curtains or see a lot of use, I would probably look elsewhere, especially for the longer lengths.

I recently purchased the H.VERSAILTEX Curtain Rods for my living room, and overall, I’m very pleased with the quality and look.Pros:Sturdy Build: The 1-inch diameter feels much more substantial than the thinner rods you find at big-box stores. It handles my heavy blackout curtains without any noticeable bowing in the middle.Beautiful Finish: The Nickel finish has a nice, high-end sheen that isn't too "shiny." The decorative finials add a classic touch that really pulls the room together.Adjustability: The telescoping feature worked smoothly, and it was easy to get the exact length I needed for my 60-inch window.Complete Hardware: It came with all the necessary brackets and screws, which saved me a trip to the hardware store.Cons:Splicing Design: Because this rod uses a splicing method for the adjustable lengths, there are small "bumps" where the rods connect. Beautiful, and very easy to install

This curtain rod is so versatile! I am not used to having this much leeway with installation. I got it for a small narrow window, but the fact that it can go from 16 inches all the way to 90 is just awesome! I am keeping the extra pieces in case I want to move this to one of my larger windows later. It was incredibly easy to install. The inclued screws were a lot longer than what I needed for my wood window frames, so I switched them out with shorter screws, but I would definitely recommend using the longer screws and drywall inserts if you're not installing the holders directly on wood or into a stud. It looks georgeous, and I love the oversized knobs. The brushed silver color went perfectly with my linen curtains and wallpaper. The rod is strong, and very high quality, and a third holder is included for when I want to install it on a longer window. Honestly, this is one of the best deals I've seen for curtain rods.

All 6 pieces weigh under 2lb 12 oz.When I opened the box and felt how light the pieces are, and felt them, I actually couldn't decide if they are metal or plastic. A magnet sticks, so they're metal. They're just the thinnest metal I've seen short of a pop can. They're incredibly thin and so cheap and cheesy. And they look cheap and cheese. They're not at all sturdy.
