Plastic finals and thin aluminum rod sections

Not a high quality curtain rod. It comes in multiple sections that screw together. The finals are painted plastic. It has been so cold this winter I want to put up some thermal drapes along the door wall. I think this rod will hold up for at least one season. If my idea brings down the electric bill then I will use the technique next year but maybe with a sturdier rod. This rod pretty much demands a pocket sleeve to hide the joins on the rod. Other styles will show the section joints and screw markings. It may be possible to use another type of drape that will not highlight the screw in joints. Personally I think the pocket style drape will be better at keeping the cold out but I still not impressed with the pole’s quality. The metal rod seems very thin. For the price there are surely better options. I will use it for this winter but likely will upgrade to a brushed chrome/steel rod, not a painted rod like this one. I recommend looking for a pole with longer sections and made of sturdy metal. This light weight pole may be an option for someone in an apartment or on a very tight budget if it saves on the electric bill, it is not produced with long term use in mind.

Nice curtain rod overall

This is a nice curtain rod and it seems well made. The rod feels solid and the hardware looks good, and I think it will look really nice once I get my curtains hung.The only thing I noticed is that the color is a little different than what it appears in the listing photos. In the pictures it looks like a lighter gold, but in person it’s actually a bit darker. It’s not a big deal and it still looks nice, just something to keep in mind if you’re trying to match a very specific shade of gold.Other than that, it looks like a good quality curtain rod and I’m happy with it.

Beautiful, and very easy to install

This curtain rod is so versatile! I am not used to having this much leeway with installation. I got it for a small narrow window, but the fact that it can go from 16 inches all the way to 90 is just awesome! I am keeping the extra pieces in case I want to move this to one of my larger windows later. It was incredibly easy to install. The inclued screws were a lot longer than what I needed for my wood window frames, so I switched them out with shorter screws, but I would definitely recommend using the longer screws and drywall inserts if you're not installing the holders directly on wood or into a stud. It looks georgeous, and I love the oversized knobs. The brushed silver color went perfectly with my linen curtains and wallpaper. The rod is strong, and very high quality, and a third holder is included for when I want to install it on a longer window. Honestly, this is one of the best deals I've seen for curtain rods.

They're just the thinnest metal I've seen short of a pop can. They're incredibly thin and so cheap and cheesy. And they look cheap and cheese. They're not at all sturdy.
