Strong magnet. Well made. Rod is not flimsy. BTW. Took two fabric panels to achieve privacy.

we like the look of these a lot. Easy to assemble, magnets seem plenty strong for the sheer curtains we chose. The rods themselves seem a bit on the flimsy side, but not a concern for the curtains we chose, but may be something to keep in mind if you’ve got a heavier fabric.
Update: it’s been 2 days and I put up a different curtain (that better matches the decor), when removing the rods (to change curtain) one of the magnets stayed on the door detached from the piece holding the rod in place. I strongly suggest once you’ve put the rods up don’t touch the curtain or rods again, they look nice but are very fragile. I was able to put it back together but now I fear next time it will completely break and not be able to put back together.Original review; Put these rods up as soon as I received them. They stick to the door so long as you don’t fiddle with the curtain. I do wish that you could lock the rod to your desired length rather then redoing it when they fall off as you fiddle with the curtain to get the gathers just right. The rest was really impressive. I didn’t want to put holes in the door putting a curtain rod up so these rods are magic. Love having curtains up on my back door and not open for people to see in. We’ve had trouble with unknown people in the back yard a couple of months ago and was really contemplating putting holes in for privacy in case some one else pops up back there. Love the option of having curtains up and not puncturing the hollow door.
The rods themselves are fine but the magnets fall off the wall at the smallest touch.
Great for Metal French doors with blind inside, so I am using curtains to filter sun better
