very pretty with soft flicker

I thought these were very pretty on the first day I used these candles, so I bought a second set. I use rechargeable batteries to reduce waste. The light is pretty dim in these candles, which is fine since I bought them simply to dress up the fireplace lanterns. The reason I deducted a star is because two of the candles were cutting on and off on their own through the first night and ran the batteries down. I had to turn them off at the switch, though I had previously turned them off with the remote.1-week Update: That happened only on the first night and not again since then, so I hope it was just a fluke. I keep the candle switches on the ON position and only control them with the remote. I still use the rechargeable batteries. Will update again in a few months.
