I love these shades.
The first shade arrived and it had a small dent in it, I contacted the seller and they are sending me a new one... I ordered a second shade and it is perfect. They look like Hunter Douglas and their motorized shades are less than a non-motorized Hunter Douglas. I am putting them on all of the bedroom windows in our house that we are living in while we build a new house. As long as they keep working, (and I can see no reason they won't as the construction is solid) I am going to put dozens of them in my new house. They are well made, their support is great. I've got them working with voice commands in my google home using the Broadlink remote bridge - I am having some small issues with the broadlink, but their support people are working on it and I expect to have it working 100% soon. But basically, I think Graywind shades are excellent value for the money. Installation was a breeze, takes me about 10 minutes to install one now. I'm planning on taking the batteries out to charge them, but I've had the first shade for 2 months now and battery is still going strong, by the size of it I bet it will last close to a year with raising and lowering and adjusting the shade a few times per day. So glad I found these.

Good product and value overall
I bought this product for my room. It's kind of a hassle for me to open and close a regular curtain and with this one I can do so without a problem. I like that you can control it voice commands with amazon alexa. The remote is easy to use for opening and closing the shade. I like that mine is solar powered so I don't have to plug it into the wall. I would've given this product 5 stars, but there were a few details that prevented me from doing so. 1. The motor is a little noisey and slow even on the fastest speed. 2. The light filter curtain dimmed the sunlight more than I would've liked. 3. I wish this curtain could also close from the bottom up but it can't. 4. Adjusting the settings on the remote is annoying because you have to remember to press the right bottons in the correct order, apart from the battery cover being hard to take off to access the rear buttons and battery. 5. I don't like the fact that you can't tell alexa voice assistant to stop opening or closing the blind at a certain point. To make it stop at a certain point you have to use the remote. If you tell it to open the blind it will open it all the way up until the window is fully exposed and if you tell it to close the blind it will close it until the blackout shade is fully covering the window. Besides these details I like this product and I hope it will last me forever lol or a long time at least.

Good quality and will order more - Day/Night with Solar and Controller
I ordered 4 for this studio rental unit and they are better than expected. Got the Day/Night in White, using the Solar power. The Solar power panels work great and keep the shades fully powered, and can barely see them in the window there and if you didn't know what to look for, wouldn't even know. The up/down movement is very smooth. The remote is fairly basic and I've yet to figure out how to program it and make scenes, but it did come programmed with each shade already numbered in the device. They seem to use a generic zigbee controller that lacks info, but i imagine i'll just need to research it a bit. One tiny tiny issue is that you can see in the photo, that the upper Day portion isn't exactly flush on the right side, but it's minor and hardly noticable, and besides, I think there's a fix for it and I just have to get to making it happen. All in all, I'm happy with them and about to place an order for 15 more for our own unit (we wanted to test them on our rental first, ha).

Not a good buy, IMO.
The head rail is way too tall and makes the whole thing looks ugly, especially when the blind is open. The gap on the side is still very noticeable, though its better compare to roller shade. Feel like they are being way too conservative and trimmed edge by too much. The day part of the shade is still too dark, should be 10% or 25% blackout at most (or at least make it customizable), 50% really defeats the whole purposes. The worse part, you have to pay $5 more regardless the width of the blind. I requested 30inch, and they are not willing to refund me the $5. Basically, there is no way you can get 185.99 however you configure it, it will always be 190.99 at the minimum, what a SCAM!!

Great quality
We love our Graywind shades. They are attractive and well made. We have the inside mount and they fit perfectly. We use a Broadlink universal adapter which makes hooking them up to Google Home a breeze. The shades were an easy install. The only issue we had was setting the max up and down position. That turned out to be a problem only because the positions were already set. Once we deleted the existing settings we could set our own and it worked like a charm.

These are awesome and easy to use and very easy to install.
We all know blinds are a pain to install but these were so ridiculously easy to install. I recommend if you're the husband tell your wife to go shopping for the day. I installed 5 in less than an hour. The rest of the day I watched TV and played in the garage :) When wife gets home tell her it was miserable and took most of the day lol Then show her how they work with the touch of a button! Don't forget to charge the batteries first.

Great product but top part blocks 3.5”
It’s a great product. I had a hunter Douglas and replaced it with this. The solar and battery charged components seem very well thought.The top piece that blocks the motor is 3.5” instead of 2.5” on the hunter douglas which is unfortunate. That plus the blinds having less depth means more sunlight is blocked when fully opened. Loses more than an inch. Wish they made the motor block less.
