Great Way To Recognize That First Time Grandmother

I got this item to give to an upcoming first time grandmother.When I removed it from its custom styrofoam packaging, it spoke “Grandmas First Grandchild” to me right away! But this is not the only purpose I can see it being used for. A Dad could give this to his child’s mother commemorating their child’s birth. Or even as a gift for a godmother or special aunt.It is made of a dense resin material and has some weight to it. It is approximately 5” tall and 2.5” long. It appears to be hand painted and the muted color tones add to its beauty.A cute little card is included, that has a lined plain back for you to add your personal sentiments.Would I Recommend? A resounding yes!Whom ever receives this special keepsake, is sure to treasure it for years to come!

Sweet, sentimental, figurine, but more fragile than resin should be

This figurine is incredibly sweet at first glance. The pose between the grandmother and grandchild captures such a tender, loving moment. Lovely representation of a grandmother’s love, Very well made

These sculpted wood figurines are so adorable. They are classy, well made, and make a really nice gift to honor someone or just to brighten up a shelf or picture. I placed this next to an old photo of my grandparents who were such an integral part of my childhood. My grandmother was so generous with hugs and affection, so this represents all the love she showed me. The wood figurine is lightweight, very well crafted, and will withstand handling/moving over time. The hand painting gives this a very personal touch. I like the lack of details (eyes, nose, etc) because it is a representation of all grandmothers. For anyone who likes collecting, these are great in groupings. Perfect gift for a grandmother that has everything. Women especially appreciate the expression of love. It may look delicate , but i dropped it by accident and no damage was done. I now prefer the wood over ceramic.

Very sweet figurine, but be careful if shipping as a gift!

This statue of mother and child is great. It says for grandma but I bought mine to give to a new mother and she loved it. Made well and it is a nice weight. Arrived on time and fast.
