Saw others that promised less-than-a-minute mounting... but looked cheaply made....these took a bit to unbox... fit the upper and lower handle... mounting INSIDE with the included hardware was straight forward and appears rugged... blinds can be removed for whatever... blind cleaning... window cleaning.... etc... bought because of light blocking and thermal barrier... they keep light out... we'll see about the heat and cold... once up, they don't appear stark white... which should be fine... ordered more for additional rooms...

Easy installation

These are wonderful, blackout shades. They are lightweight, contemporary looking, and easy to install. There are no messy cords, and you have complete flexibility in how much and where the blinds are positioned. The mounting brackets have two screws each, and the blinds snap in snuggly to the brackets, which are nearly invisible once the blinds snap in. I took off a star for poor customer support. I needed a replacement hardware kit, and Amazon and Grandekor each sent me to the other, without success, after multiple cycles of correspondence.

Not for a place where there are young children around

I had to return this window shade for various reasons. The main reason was that there were chords when you pushed the sheet up or pulled the shed down and you left it at halfway either way. That’s not good for children. Also, I found that it was not very room darkening. So if you have kids, especially younger ones don’t purchase us. It does move easily, but with court sticking out and someone could get hurt on it.
