The Grandekor Blackout Roller Shades worked out well in the guest bedroom that I installed these in, however the top portion that houses the roller assembly does come out further than I was expecting. THe light blocking material is good and really darkened the room once they were fully down. Rollability was smooth and relatively quiet. So far these have been opened and closed multiple times a week and durability has been god so far for the couple of months they have been installed. Nice shades that work well for me
These roller shades work well for me. They were fairly easy to install. I will say though that the photos in the instructions for installation were not very good. They're way too small and not detailed enough to be clear. So I sort of struggled with the installation a little even though it's easy to do (as I now know after the fact). Other than that, I'm impressed with these shades. They go up and down smoothly and look nice. All of the required hardware was included. Also, they block the light very well. I put them up on a window facing west and no light shown through. Durability will be something I can judge as time goes on but my initial impression is that they're fairly good quality. All in all, I'm happy with these blackout roller shades.

These came packaged very well.The material is thick, durable, looks amazing.The valence adds a lot to the look and hides the mechanism.This really does work as a blackout shade.
