Highly Recommend, after trying several at this price point.

I often give framed quotes or messages as gifts, so the trick is always finding the nicest looking frame at the lowest price. This is about the biggest frame I've ever done this with. And I tried three different brands on Amazon. This was absolutely the best. The worst was "VCK 18x24 Poster Frame 2 Pack, Natural Wood Grain Black Oak." (stay far away frim the VCK) they're basically the same price point, but the products are night and day difference. The frame that I am reviewing here is a great value for the price. It is absolutely solid wood. The side that's facing the person viewing the picture is nicely finished, and has no wood grain (not good or bad, it just depends on what you're looking for). This Frame is very sturdy, solid, and reasonably heavy. It has real glass in it, all the other ones that I have seen at this lower price have plexiglass. You can see that the mat inside has a little bit different size on the margins as it does the top and bottom, but I don't know that this is a bad thing, they have created the frame to fit one size and then cut the mat so that it will fit a different standard size. You can buy this Frame and use it for either purpose. Either pull them out and use the full frame, or leave the mat in if you have a smaller size that fits there which is a different standard size. If you're trying to get a large solid wood frame that has a nice finish at a price of below $40 per frame, this one is a total winner.

We bought an artist's print at a small gallery. The print already had a professional mat that fit the size of this frame. I bought this frame, which looked like a nice compliment from the images online.Pros:This frame is made of actual woodThe frame fit our piece beautifullyIt came with nice quality glass and a good, firm backer boardThe backer board has attached glides that lock into the frame with no tools needed.It all went together in about 5 minutes.Cons:The colors are not as apparent in person as they look online.(That being said, it still looks very nice, and you always have to give some fudge-factor for online viewing)The corner miters are acceptable, but not "gallery" quality. No one will ever notice.It did not come with a wire for hanging (there are loops for a wire)All-in-all, we are very satisfied with the purchase and recommend this frame!

Good frames for the price, very happy with them!

These are good quality—look great for the price. Neutral decor that should be nice for years to come. The wood is a composite, looks nice close up. I was impressed with the effective but minimal list shipping, I’m always a bit nervous to order things like this online because they are either broken or so overpacked I feel guilty about the waste. Not in this case, they were well packed and shipped.
