Mostly well made
Initially, this looks very well made and is very attractive. I was excited about finally having an incense burner for my frankincense resin and incense cones. Unfortunately, I realized that really don’t care for the smell of Frankincense though I still use it for its antibacterial properties. I really appreciate the tongs that came with it as it makes adding and removing things easier. I put some incense cones in the receptacle and it worked well to contain the ash, however I can’t use the lid with a cone because my cones are too long. Also, the holes in the lid don’t allow enough oxygen and it puts out the incense. Other than the lid issue, this has been a welcome addition to my altar and I like that I can put the lid back on once the incense is burned instead of having to empty out the ashes after every use. It’s the perfect size for my altar and keeps things safer and cooler than just using a plate or candle holder. It does a pretty good job of insulating against the heat. There were some minor flaws in the metal work but not obvious unless inspecting closely. I have added pics of the irregularities. This ended up being a good value and has been more useful than I expected.
