Beautiful bookends
These two book ends are definitely going to be noticed.They would make a terrific gift for the right person, but I want to caution you a bit on that. They are a nice style for a public facing law office. I don't think they are particularly conservative in style, and for a white collar firm, a big law associate, or a conservative judge or a stodgier prosecutor, they might be a bit too extra. For a personal injury attorney, a defense attorney of any kind, someone working wills and estates, or someone tangential to the legal industry, these look fancy and interesting. Some lawyers wear only grey suits and white shirts, and this is for the other lawyers.These bookends work great at stabilizing books. They are surprisingly wide at the base, and designed and built to do the job. They flat backs of each Themis lady will not damage books. In the box are two pairs of scales that you hang from the hands that are held aloft. It's very easy to add them. Each statue looks great, and despite being made of resin, have a nice subdued metallic appearance.They are durable in a sense, but you could break them if they were handled roughly, or if kids used them as toys. The resin seems to hold color well, but those arms could break off if dropped the wrong way.They are a good value, certainly much nicer than you'd expect at this price point. Most bookends are one material, and these combine three colors, and look really sharp. The snake, the legs, the sword, the clothing, it's all very precisely colored. This is a premium product.So for value, design quality, and function, these are great. I just caution you to be wary of buying these for every attorney or new law graduate. There are a lot of lawyers who like some pieces of flair in their office, and these are fantastic pieces of flair. There are some lawyers who want to minimize that sort of thing.

They are pretty small for bookends, and couldn’t hold up too many books or larger books. But they are pretty to look at, and eye catching. The mixed metallic finish is unique and works with many decor styles. They are sturdy feeling, but not too weighty. Eyecatching display of justice with real functionality
This nice justice statue reminds us of what is important. It makes a nice bookend, especially on a shelf with any books about law or politics. The resin is nice and the gold coloration is stunning. They are strong enough to funciton well as bookends and add some flash to the room. These are not cheap but if you like the design it will be reasonable. They are best from a short distance away as the smaller details are not as particular. I am pleased with these conversation pieces and expect to enjoy them for a long time.

Awesome bookends for my little nolos.
Excellent bookends for my little nolo legal book collection. These are lightweight so I won't use them for heavier books, but they are very detailed and are a perfect rendition of lady justice.

Beautiful designs, but quality is not worth the price tag
These are gorgeous bookends! I like the gold and silver together. These feel like they’re made out of some kind resin material. There are quite a few fine details on them as well. They feel fairly lightweight but they have enough weight to hold books up. The way these are designed they also could work great as decor. I am marking one star off because of the price. While these look nice, they definitely don’t scream “spend $55 on me.” The material feels a bit cheap and the paint job is a bit messy and rushed looking. (Similar to products you might find at a dollar store. If you can find a coupon or a good sale, go for it. Otherwise, it’s just not worth price.
