It's... fine?

It's a bird. It's a sculptural bird. It looks like the kind of thing they put in a leasing office or a model home, some nondescript, very safe, abstract decor so you'll focus on the house and not the junk inside. And it's... fine?It's just fine. The bird is SIGNIFICANTLY larger than you're imagining. I didn't know how big I thought the bird would be, but when I opened the box, it was significantly bigger than I imagined. The bird is solid and sturdy. Pretty heavy, in the way that quality things are just heavier. The bird comes with two little peg legs to rest on. They're cute, but it puts the bird at a weird angle - not really sitting up, but also not sitting back.I think I wouldn't have knocked off a star except for the eyes. Two black marble eyes - the only texture on an otherwise very interesting black sculptural bird.... just two big eyes following you around the room.
