Beautiful Rug!

I purchased this rug to go at the bottom of my steps to help keep my elderly dog from slipping. It works great and it is so beautiful that I bought two more, one for my front door and one for my side door, for inside doormats. The colors are dark gray, light gray, rusty brown and a bit of cream, with a cream stitched border. Perfect for my modern farmhouse design in my home. The only thing I will say is, they are not 100% gripping on my floor. I feel like I still need to get something under them to keep them in place. I'm still going to give 5 stars because the quality and colors are excellent.

So far meets my expectations.

Needed rugs that were washable in high traffic areas and would still look good if not washed every week. So I thought I would try these bought one for trial before I changed out all rugs in kitchen. Kitchen gets a lot of foot traffic by people and dogs we go out into the back yard a lot. The rug arrived with what looked like a hand written thank you note with a nice Godiva chocolate which I thought was a really nice touch made the online order more personal. The first photo was the first rug I bought it has been down for about a month as you can tell from the second photo the colors are not quite as bright since it has been trampled on by three big dogs and people. However it doesn't look dirty it just has the look of an older tapestry rug. We live in Georgia so the dirt is kinda clay colored with these colors it seems to blend really well. It is not a rug with a high pile to it more like a woven type rug but they don't look like a cheap rug when they are down on the floor. The wrong color was actually sent on the first one but I didn't realize it I had actually ordered one with a darker blue tone and I don't think it had that brownish color, but that error was actually a benefit to me as when I got the second rug with the darker blue I realized the background color was not going to blend the dirt as well. The second rug didn't have the note but the product still meets my expectations, will post and up date once I wash the rug to let everyone know how it holds up then.

Lovely Rug but...

It is a very pretty rug for a washable rug. However, it is extremely slippery on our wood floors, so I had to spend as much again for a pad that does not damage vintage wood floors. Granted, it is not advertised as a slip-free rug. It was sold as being 6 feet, 6 inches long, however it is only 6 feet and I was counting on the extra 6 inches.

Great product!!!

Initially, having such a thin rug concerned me, however, it keeps our feet warm. It was just slightly too big for the space in front of our sinks. If we didn’t have the baseboard, it would be perfect and I’m not ripping out the baseboard to fit a rug.Having successfully shrink a smaller version of this rug for our water closet I decided tonight to wash the rug and dry it on low heat. Instead of air drying it, I went in for 130 minutes on low heat. I was going to check it halfway through however, I forgot about it. It turned out perfect. It shrink it about an inch or less and now it’s lives in perfectly in front of our sinks, so no more tripping hazard (we did have the corners anchor down with some rubber grips, however, I am more comfortable that it fits perfectly now).So, as I stated with the other ones, if you’re concerned about the size, consider the fact that you can gently shrink these on your own terms. I will not be using heat on these again however, it was worth it getting it to shrink this time. Previously we wash this and put it outside to dry.

Pretty, durable, but no machine washable!

Of course with pets and kids I have already needed to wash this rug within a month of owning it. Do not wash in a washing machine! The rug gets creased and will not lay flat again, texture and softness changed, and anti-slip backing came off. Very disappointed.
