Beautiful, aromatic, soft, vibrant.

I am so impressed by these roses. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they are gorgeous.The cylindrical box is inside a plastic bag inside a printed cardboard box with double tabbed flaps securing it. It is well packaged. (And that was all inside an amazon shipping box) There is no padding but none is necessary. (Less waste)The round box has an unusual texture; it almost looks like a leather, but it is velvety. The foil embossed logo on the top and side are clean and bold. The bow was not tied particularly nicely but it isn’t glued so that’s easily fixed. Honestly, that is the only flaw, a mediocre bow knot. We’ll call that the human touch.When I opened the round box I was met with the scent of roses. I didn’t know if there would be a smell since they are preserved, but they smell very nice. Not overwhelming or chemical, just pleasantly roses.The roses do not appear to be intended to be removed from the box. I didn’t try too aggressively to remove them since I don’t want to ruin them.The color is a very consistent red but it appears to be a natural shade. You can see two images showing the size of a bloom, one with a camera flash and one without. The texture appears to react the same under flash as a fresh red would with that slight sheen.If you look at the set of images with the close ups of a torn off bit of a petal you’ll also see where I used a ruler to push aside some petals to show how they flex easily.I do wonder how these are preserved and whether there are any safety concerns with pets since cats are notorious for messing with flowers.There are instructions to avoid direct sunlight, moisture/humidity, and to just gently dust them or use a cool low blow dryer to keep them clean.I think these are a lovely alternative to fresh flowers.

These flowers are incredibly beautiful! I bought them for my best friend, and we were both surprised at the presentation and appearance. These preserved flowers come in a white velvet/suede box. The box is quite an elevated quality. Before opening the box, you can smell the scent of rose. Once the box is open, the rose smell spreads throughout the immediate area. The roses are arranged, beautifully all facing up and are very delicate to the touch. Instructions say that no watering or care is necessary. My best friend has had them on display in her living room for about two weeks now and their appearance has not changed.
