This candle is absolutely adorable! First, I will talk about the jar that it comes in. The cartoon character and saying is super cute. What a great gift for somebody who is sick or recovering and is also a dog lover. This is sure to put a smile on anybody’s face. The container is glass and has a metal screw top. It is very thick glass and nice quality. The candle is made of soy wax, which is excellent. I always prefer that to paraffin wax because soy is natural. And it has a lavender scent to it. This does have a good scent and I’m so glad it does! It is not overbearing at all, but I hate when you light a candle and you don’t really smell anything. This gives a really pleasant sent to your home. It is not overwhelming, but you can definitely notice the scent of your candle. It smells like a really natural lavender scent and not chemical like. I can definitely tell that this is made with quality essential oils. And this all comes in a nice gift box. Perfect for giving. This is an excellent value and I love this so much. I will definitely get this again for any of my friends who are sick or recovering from surgery or just need a little pick me up!

The Rare Get-Well Gift That Isn’t Cheesy
This is not soft lavender. Citrus hits first, then clean and lightly woody. Fresh. Slightly masculine. No powder. No spa fog. I really enjoy this one.The jar is frosted glass with real, decent, weight. Gold metal lid threads smoothly. No rattle. No flex. The label is clean, and the artwork is slightly raised and sealed in. Not a sticker. I rubbed at it and nothing lifted.The illustration reads clearly and is pretty cute. The “D” in “Don’t” uses that Disney-style script curve. Obvious once you see it.Wax is smooth with a centered wick. Clean pour. No dips or bubbles. Scent throw is moderate. Smells clean sitting out. Lit, it fills a small room without getting sharp or sweet.The box showed up a little beat up. I don’t know that I would purchase this candle for my own use because it is so small for the price. However, the lavender fragrance is very nice. I admit that I was disappointed for the first few hours of burning it because I just could not smell it in my living room. However, after a few hours of burning, I began to get pleasant whiffs of the lavender scent and it smells nice.If I were to buy this candle, it would be for the purpose of gifting it to someone who is ill or recovering from an illness, as encouragement for and support of them. For my personal use, I am unable to justify the price for so small a candle, regardless of its degree of cuteness.

Overwhelming scent
This candle is to give to someone recovering from an illness or surgery. It's made of wax, so I can't tell you what kind, since it doesn't say and has a cotton wick. It's supposed to burn for up to 50 hours. It's a lavender scent. The message and cute cartoon on the front is nice. When I removed it from the box, the scent was very strong, and when I took the lid off, it was overwhelming. It was so strong that it gave me a headache. Sorry, but unless you like extremely strong scents, I don't recommend this.
