I ordered the 5x7 rectangle and it is a great size for the space. The pattern is very pretty with soft, muted tones that work well with a mid-century or modern style. The rug lays flat and the non-slip backing grips the floor nicely, so it does not slide around. It is heavier than you would think being so thin, and I will be curious to see how durable it is. Price is great.The material feels soft underfoot and looks nice in a living room or bedroom. My only reason for taking off one star is the care instructions. It recommends not washing too frequently and air drying, which is a bit impractical for a rug of this size. Aside from that, it is a good-looking rug that adds warmth and style to the room.
I ordered this rug to help cover a very worn area of our hardwood floor that is near the area where our pets' food and water dishes are. This will both protect the floor from further damage until we can get the floors refinished and also cover the ugly worn area from view.I was surprised when this rug came in a small box, as I was expecting it to come in a large roll. I was doubtful that this would unfold neatly and be a quality rug because I hadn't seen rugs come in boxes like this before.However, it has unfolded nicely. The rug itself is very soft. We haven't walked on it a lot, so I don't know yet how durable it will be (but so far, so good). We also have not had to wash it yet, but it does seem pretty flexible, since it unfolded nicely from the box.The back is a sort of grippy rubber, so it does stay in place well.As you can see, the rug is cat-approved. So far, we humans approve of it as well!
I noticed the ad for this rug and fell in love with the design immediately. It can be used with so many furniture styles. What really caught my eye was the claim that it is robot friendly. "Elmo", my robot vacuum, does an amazing job of keeping it clean and doesn't get stuck getting on and off of it.It is made of high quality material that is so soft. It is nice to sit on. Also, it helps take the cold feeling off the wood floor as you walk or sit on it. It's nice for little ones to play on. The backing is a nice, heavy duty, non-slip rubber type of material. Also, it stays in place nicely but if you move you can take it with you.I like that it is machine washable. It doesn't shed and looks just like the ad photo.I live alone and envisioned a carpet roll being shipped thus needing help. It comes in a very easy to handle package and so easy to bring in the house. This is helpful if you live in a multi story apartment or move frequently.The room that I put it in looks so much more inviting and warm. I highly recommend it.
