Night Shift UNITE!
Calling all Night Shift workers! This is what you have been needing. I know it’s what my husband has been needing. Everybody who works a night shift likes a good blackout curtain, but this brings a little bit of luxury to it as well. Not only is it’s superior light blocking, the fact that there is a remote with it makes it even more lovely for those times you get in bed and remember you forgot to pull down the blinds. The installation was super easy. I was prepared to look it up on YouTube or something, but I did not need to and I am far from a person who’s good at this type of thing. I was happy to say it came with all its hardware, because like most people I always fear missing piece or two. I am absolutely thrilled to have this. And I have to say that my Night Shift working husband is in love as well. It functions smoothly and there have been no problems. As for The price? Well that’s really gonna be up to you and your personal budget but if you do have the money for it, this is worth every penny. If you work a graveyard or Night Shift and value your sleep and have not been getting satisfactory light blocking from your current blinds it’s worth the investment in this. No it is not cheap but overall it will save you a lot of sleepless days. In the long run, I think that pays off pretty big. So overall, I gotta say it is good value for your money.

Everything in this kit feels on the high end
This GE Motorized, Rechargeable, Smart Window Shade/Blind with compatible with Matter Hubs & Remote Control was very easy to install using just three screws provided. There are two sets of mounting screw hardware shorter or longer, depending on if you can attach to a secure wooden frame or have to use the supplied drywall inserts. All the hardware is good quality, and instructions are easy to follow. Having a drill to pre-drill holes helps, and a Philips screwdriver. Programing the top and bottom stops using the remote (batteries included) was easy to perform. You will need a modern smart home device like Amazon Echo (4th generation and newer) or Google Nest Hub that already have built-in Matter support to be able to connect to this shade. The Matter scannable code is attached to one of small antenna wires sticking out of the top. The build quality is excellent, as you might expect at this price level. Operation is smooth and functions quietly. As with must shades of the type you might find some light gaps on the edges depending on mounting. The included charger and long magnetic connector cable make it easy to recharge the shade after approximately 6 months. The charge port is hidden pretty well and you will need to hang on to the specialize gimbled connector cable to be able to charge. Also, please note there is no valance as part of this kit. Everything in this kit feels on the high end.
