This rug pad is wonderful! There is no off gassing! the width is truly i/4 inch ( I measured with a ruler when received). The pad is just enough cushion without being too thick to cause a tripping hazard and doors still can open over the carpet. This rubberized pad doesn't allow the carpet to slide or move. I would buy again.
Great quality. Thick and tightly weaved. After unfolding there was no significant bumps or wrinkles. One more important quality that there was no chemical smell whatsoever.

Purchased this pad for our rug when my bay started crawling and climbing all over our living room. I’m so pleased to report that the cushioning on this thing is pretty great! I feel a lot better about my baby playing in our living now and it’s also a great comfort for my bum. Such a better alternative to purchasing a play mat that might make our living room look tacky. Excellent quality.
The pad is just as described. It keeps the rug in place and is thin enough that it doesn't cause a trip hazard.
Got this to put down on my newly refinished floor. It’s perfect. Nice cushion for the rug. It is a little longer than my 8x10 rug & just needs trimmed but other than that, it’s great! Get it!
