Nice bold print

This 8x10 washable rug with a jungle-themed print of zebras, peacocks, tigers, etc., makes a statement. It's a bold print with deep, rich color. The rug is soft with no shedding. It is thin, but that's to be expected since it is washable. I do not have a washer that would handle the weight of this when it's wet, but I have steam-cleaned it with a rug shampooer, and it comes out nice every time. No color bleeding. It also dries quickly. The rug is durable and stands up to my pets running around on it.The rug comes folded, and it takes time to relax the creases and lie flat. It has a non-slip back, so it doesn't slide around, and I like that the corners lie flat without curling up.I did find this particular one to be thinner than other washable rugs I have tried.

Good Looking Rug

I have purchased these low pile, washable rugs in the past. As with all of them, they arrive folded up (instead of rolled) which causes creases. Sometimes they relax pretty well, other times they remain with deep creases. I find that the larger the rug the more that the creases will diminish. Straight from the package I roll them up to help release the wrinkles. I'll leave them for a good 24 hours, first rolled with the backing on the inside, then again with the backing on the outside. This helps with the wrinkles. This rug is doing pretty well with this procedure. It still has some kinking, so to speak, but overall, it is doing well.This rug's ink is well saturated into the material so that you don't see the white when the nap is moved around (such as footprints). I've had a few rugs that the print is very superficial and the white shows through a lot. This one looks pretty good. It's soft to walk on and the rubber gripper on the back does a good job of preventing the carpet from moving around. This is important to me as throw rugs without the nonskid backing can cause quite the fall risk.The price for this product is on the higher end of the scale for a rug of this make and size.This rug has a unique design with its animal and plant's theme. The print is all over and not just one way so you can put this rug anywhere and the print won't appear upside down. I like that about it.It could look good in my long closet, the hallway or even in front of my kitchen island.I'm looking forward to putting this to good use this holiday in front of my kitchen island where I stand a lot.
