Very soft and low pile at the same time. Good quality and design in person. Haven’t tried to wash yet, but very thin. I will probably take to a laundromat though for a bigger washer. But I needed washable runner and this was perfect - I have two black cats and love plants.Is it the highest quality 5 star rug ever? No. It’s a printed washable runner. You need a rug pad or rug tape to keep it in place. But the listing was accurate and I got exactly what I expected and the print is good quality. I needed something inexpensive and cute that was easy to toss in my wash machine once a month.Folks who have trouble vacuuming these rugs, here’s a tip: shake off what you can, secure with rug tape (or weigh it down on each end) and use the lowest pile setting on your vacuum, or use the the upholstery attachment tool if you have one. So far this method works great with my stick vacuum.
