Can’t find better than a GarveeHome washable rug!

I’m obsessed with GarveeHome rugs at this point. I have them in every room and I’ve even bought a couple as gifts for my mom and sister. This pattern is one of my favorites. The colors look even nicer in person.I honestly can’t say enough good things about rugs you can just throw in the wash. It’s so nice not stressing over spills or dragging out a carpet cleaner every time someone drops something and if liquid spills and you catch it fast you can just soak it up with a towel and it doesn’t leave stains.Yes, the rugs are on the thinner side, but the fabric is super soft.I keep coming back to this brand because they’re cute, great quality, hold up after tons of washes and still lay flat. And good bang for your buck!

Super soft and cute!!

This rug is so soft and the design is really cute! I've actually done my entire upstairs with these rugs and really like the thinner style on my laminate floor. Makes it easy to vacuum the entire area and the rubberized backing holds place quite well. I still use the floor stick pads that come with the rug to keep it in place better but it actually hasn't moved at all while I've been letting the folds flatten out or vacuuming them.It comes folded and this does leave some creases but they flatten out really quickly. The 5x7s I've had no issues with, except a couple spots which I left some books on over night and they were gone the next day. The 3x5 took some more books but I still had no issues in the end. Plus, the sticky pads can help pull it flatter. They also mention you can iron them on low but I'm not seeing a reason to with mine and I have 3 now.I also like that you can throw these in the washer and dryer, which I plan on doing once or twice a year. It's also recommended that you don't use the beater on the vacuum to help preserve the life of the rug. I'm using this one for my cat's area and I'm hoping to get 4-5 years out of these. For the money, it's a perfect value for me and option for keeping, clean, easy to install carpets in my rooms. The stitching is done really well around the edges too, so I see them holding up for a several washes.

Whimsical nod to the Persian rug style; fits formal and playful spaces

I started using washable area rugs after adopting two cats with stomach issues. GarveeHome became one of my go-to brands because their rugs are wonderfully soft, even though they’re low pile; they wash and dry easily; and the patterns are refreshingly unique. This green insect design is no exception.One could walk into the room and not necessarily notice the whimsy in this rug as it gives off persisan rug vibes and blends gently into the decor, especially once the coffee table is put back. The colors are a mix of a soft and medium gray sage green, a deeper forest green for the border and stems, and then a gentle range of beiges, browns, and burnt orange for the other nature elements. The rug could truly fit any space, from a formal dining room to the kids’ playroom.One detail that really delighted me is the variety of insects and included, like ladybugs, bees, and several types of moths. There are also a lot of cute snails. The critters flit amongst mushrooms, acorns, and flowers. Every time I look at it, I notice something new.I let the rug lay out for a day to release the wrinkles. I think it will take another day or two for them to fully relax, but the rug is already usable. I know from past experience that the corners can lift on washable rugs. I try to position them strategically where I can put the leg of a piece of furniture on it. Sometimes I use a little carpet tape on the bottoms of the corners, but those are very sticky and the adhesive doesn’t typically wash out without a fight.

The black rug option isn’t actually black

I read through the reviews before buying and thought I knew what to expect when I received these rugs. To my surprise when I opened up my package I saw two navy blue rugs instead of black. I checked the package and my online order and I definitely ordered black. I normally don’t write reviews but I’m genuinely so bothered by the color difference. Im guessing that because the rugs are made to look “worn” or “vintage” it makes them have more of a purple/blue hue.
