Quite soft and dampens the echo in my room

I like this checkered rug. They only had navy blue in the 9x12 rugs, but to me the checkers look black. You would have to see it in direct light to see the navy blue. The rug is advertised as no shedding, but thats not entirely true, as after i put it in place, i noticed little fibers on my furniture and stuff. Hopefully shedding will be minimal after all is settled. I also notice a chemical type smell, but the documentation says that will fade with time. None of these things take away how much i like it. Im happy and my room looks good now.

Squares are printed oddly but hard to tell

I have a cat so I only buy cheap rugs. This rug checks the boxes softness and style wise, but upon closer inspection it definitely has its imperfections. If I had paid a lot of money I would be upset but this is fine. The squares are off and printed oddly in some spots. The rug is soft but pretty thin. If you’re looking for a higher end dupe, this is not it. It did have a fairly strong smell at first but has worn off. So while I wouldn’t say it’s a great value, it’s not terrible. The dark blue color is nice, it almost looks black.

Decent quality but pattern is COMPLETELY OFF

I would have given it a perfect review.. the size of the rug for the price is nice.. it’s very soft which is great for my son who has autism, for sensory purposes BUT the checker pattern is completely off and makes the rug look crooked.. which is NOT great for sensory purposes smh.. it would be nice if they can send my son a new 1 that hopefully aligns.. in that case id change my review to 5 stars but for now i have to wait on my sons reaction before i can update this review… if u know anything about children on the spectrum, things as simply as this pattern not being even can send them into a frenzy..I would still recommend this rug in solid colors.. the quality isn’t bad but my son loves cars therefore the checker pattern is apart of his theme. In the pictures u can see that the checkers are going small to big on a slant and completely cut off in other areas…
