Hooray, it's plastic
I actually love little desk signs like this, especially ones that are as clever as this one is. The sentiment on it is so original that I had to get it to go with my other sign that says "not my monkeys, not my circus." I love the pair together, and I would recommend this to anyone who has the other sign. Everyone who sees the progression gets a bang out of the two together, and it never fails to get a laugh or at least a smirk. One thing to know about this sign is that it is a solid sheet of plastic with solid sheets of plastic that form the frame on the sides. This easily stand on its own, but it does not have a foot or any other stabilizers to keep it in place, so I recommend this for a solid desk or shelf surface. I have not had any trouble with mine falling over; it has a good weight to it that I think helps it to stay standing up. I was delighted when I opened this and found that it's made of plastic, not wood or faux wood like so many of the signs are.Another refreshing change is that this is larger than my little square wooden ones, and the graphics, including the text, are very easy to read, even from far-ish away. The problem with those little wooden ones is that the woodgrain under the graphic can make the saying hard to read; not so with this one. It is clear, clean, fresh, modern, large, and stable, not to mention--funny! As someone with a lot of desk signs, I highly recommend this one.
