Beautiful Lavender Candle – Great Quality but pricey for its size

The lavender scent is calming and fills the room with a soft, relaxing aroma, perfect for winding down after a long day. It comes in a gorgeous glass jar that’s filled right to the top, and I like that the lid screws on, so you can keep it fresh when not in use. Plus, the jar is totally reusable, which makes it feel extra special and eco-friendly.It burns evenly and lasts a long time, so you really get to enjoy it for hours. The quality is excellent, and it looks so pretty sitting on a table or shelf. My only little gripe is the price; it’s definitely on the higher side.

Cute but has flaws

I think this candle is a very cute novelty gift to give to runners. There are a few things to note though. The first is that it smells differently while burning than it does out the box. It has a REALLY good lavender smell out the box. But when you burn it, it has hints of bug spray smell or one of those citronella candles. The bug spray smell isn’t super strong but there is hints of it that I wasn’t a fan of. Not all lavenders are created equal! Luckily the smell doesn’t travel throughout your house. It pretty much stays limited to one room and you get adjusted to it, if that’s a flaw for you. Also I think there may be a slight typo on the front. I think it’s meant to say “early morning starts” but it says “early morning stars.” If anyone is a stickler for grammar that is also something to consider. On a positive note it’s a very slow burn! The wax doesn’t melt fast at all if you need to leave it lit for longer. BUT it doesn’t melt as evenly. It tunnels a little (not too bad). I prefer to burn a little longer on the first burn so it can burn evenly for future lights but it’s been on for a while and did not fix itself :/ 3 stars because I really like candles overall.
