It was pretty difficult to take apart with the little screwdriver provided, but if you already have a basic tool set, then you should be okay. It also comes with its own nails and hooks to hang on the wall.The frame is reasonably weighted for its size, I'd say. For how large it is and the wood & other materials. The wood is true to the image on the listing, and there were no flaws that I could find.The frame came in a box with styrofoam in strategic places to prevent damage to the frame & glass, which I'm grateful for... broken glass is never fun to find.The frame has those hinges and sliding pins to press your image firmly & securely into place. Frankly, I don't think the puzzle I put inside would budge for any reason save for a natural disaster. My only qualm is that the little screwdriver that came with the frame to undo and redo the screws for the hinges was awful. Cheap, sooo so small it was hard to grip, and the head of the screwdriver kept sliding out of the grooves in these teeny tiny screws. Thankfully I had another screwdriver on-hand that fit. I get that you buy the frame and not the screwdriver, but if it's necessary to put the thing together, could it not be a nightmare to try to use?
