Good item

This incense burner is perfect for bakhoor bricks. It is not heavy, so it is on the delicate side. I have no problem with that but it's something others would like to consider. It looks stunning once you light up a candle too. Instead of having a copper dish on top of it, the dish is made from a metal ring and mesh. If you do not break up the brick, you won't have any fall out over the candle, but I reuse the bricks (breaking them in peaces or apart), so I used a small square of aluminum foil to cover snugly the dish and problem solved! I also recommend to place either a small terracotta plate or a piece of cork (like a coaster) under the bottom, just to be sure you don't damage any surface. Other than that I do recommend this burner. Looks very nice, it does what it is supposed to do. So nice that mom confiscated mine and soon I'll re purchase this😉

Burns Resin

This quickly burns the resin. Unfortunately, it seems to burn the resin to the point of a lot of smoke, and smells like plastic burning. It could be the resin I am using. However, I bought and adjustable brass resin burner that burns super low and slower than I desire but eventually fills a small room with a beautiful fragrance using the same resin. So not really sure what the deal is. I think if my adjustable brass resin burner had the screen that’s on this black iron resin burner it would be perfect. The search continues. Overall, fast burn, definitely smokes. The resin also drips through the screen. Looks and feels like something from the dollar store. Should be more like $5 or $10 at the most. Must lift lid to insert candle. Be sure to place on fire and heat resistant surface.

Bent in the back/ way smaller than the picture.

I'm keeping it only because of the pretty cut-outs that make the room glow in the shapes of them. The resin tray was unexpectedly not solid but a closely knit mesh screen material. The tealight hole is tiny so you better have the tiniest tealight candles (I had to go find new ones)!
