I took a chance after doing some research on how the process of preserving flowers is done. It’s multi step and super impressive. I read a review where somebody didn’t get the shape of a heart. Well, I can tell you this is absolutely the shape of a heart. Obviously heart shaped roses don’t grow in the wild, so there is some artistic modification that has done that I outlined in my video. At least from my observations, it looks like they pull petals from the rear and fold and position petals at the front. I was very skeptical ordering this. I thought for sure I would get some thing that showed up, looking like a rose but silk or something. Nope. I am enough of a geek that I took a magnifying glass to this thing. It’s a real rose! Real stem. Real thorns. Real leaves. Even the petals at the bottom are real. This process is clearly not some thing that’s quickly done. Some sort of adhesive is used to secure the pedals to the bottom, as well as the artistic part where the heart is shaped from what is an absolutely perfect rose. My wife admires it every day. Funny thing is I had absolutely no clue. There was any connection to beauty and the beast as far as the design. But my wife said “it’s just like beauty and the beast!” She then educated me, as she does hourly, ha. Something unique about my wife is she’s not a fan of fresh flower bouquets because they don’t last long. She also doesn’t really like silk or fake flowers. So, with that in mind, this “beast” hit a grand slam. She has since showed it off many times. Everyone who looks is skeptical until they get close enough to see it’s an actual preserved rose. Hats off to the folks who seem to have perfected this process. In summary, all you beasts out there, get this! She’ll love it!
