I am going to give it to my husband on Valentines Day. We have been married 48 years now and we love each other as much if not more then when we first fell in love. We are Seniors now and we enjoy one another more then words can say. Just like the Emperor penguins. So he will know exactly what it means. These little guys are so adorable. I love the detail they took in capturing the affection between the two penguins. The size is perfect just big enough to be noticed, but not too small to miss. They are painted very cleanly with no flaws. I would say they are a nice quality figurine.They are a great value for the price. Very delicate bu surprisingly durable at the same time. The card has a very sweet message on the cover and the inside is blank. So you can write your own heart felt message that will last a lifetime. The card is made of nice card stock weight, and the envelope is nice too. Not too flimsy. They come in a box with a Styrofoam molded to their shape. But be warned when I tried to remove it from the box, the Styrofoam just crumbled making a mess that was full of statistic and hard to get off "everything". I would suggest two things. : first take it outside. Second cut both ends of the box so you can "push" it all out without the stuff crumbling from try to grab it and pulling it out. I did it this last way and it was a mess. Once you push it out, I would suggest wrap it in tissue paper and put it in a gift bag or box. Otherwise it will ruin the special moment if you give it in its original box. The mess would ruin the moment fore sure. ¬e& we took a better close up picture and better background with made a big difference. Much nicer then the first sets of picture. I will have to work on a space that gives a brighter look. Like I managed to do with the last picture. Sorry Amazon, I am a Senior and very new to all this. But I am improving.
