It Works as an Artist's Easel for Indoors
This Easel Stand works just find as an artist's easel for indoors. I did want to use it outside for the grandkids to practice (so as not to get paint spatters on the inside of my home), but I think it's best to have a heavier wooden easel outdoors to withstand heavy breezes that could knock this one over. But I was happy doing some sketches on this easel inside the house. It's very pretty and I can see how it would work nicely to display a wedding sign. I put it together easily which is saying a lot since I usually would have husband do it for me. Because I get confused easily with assembling lots of pieces I went the extra step and scotch taped the letters to each piece and that helped me to get the assembly done more quickly. Just be careful to get the front and the back pieces correctly inserted or you might have a wrong way easel! I found the instructions to be easy to understand with no written instructions needed, just the graphic. If you start with A and work up to L you will do fine. I tried to show as much of my assembly process in the pics below. I did use a hammer to get the little black "feet" inserted into the pole ends but other than that, I only needed the tools that it came with. My one question is about the black drawstring bag: what is it's purpose? Maybe it is to hold the exta pieces if you want to go with a shorter stand.

This is a beautiful soft gold easel. It has adjustable height. It is easy to set up and down. A bag is included for easy storage. The base is unique and it adds stability by having the I-beam versus just straight v shaped. It does take some time for the initial assembly. Once that is complete, it's quite easy. Lightweight, Adjustable & Perfect for Event Displays
I really like this easel. It was easy to put together and feels sturdy for its intended use. One of my favorite features is that it has three adjustable height settings, which makes it very versatile. You could definitely use it for painting for kids or adults, but I personally plan to use it for party rentals to display welcome signs with balloon décor near the entrance of events.Adjusting the height is very simple. Looks great - very sturdy!
This easel is just the right size for event signage - fairly large but still fits easily in the closet without taking up much room at all. The gold finish is pretty, and it held a 10 lb painting with ease. It took my husband about 10 mins to assemble for me, and although it breaks down into smaller pieces to go in a little carrying bag - I doubt we will bother breaking it down because it fits just fine in the car.

Not what I was expecting
Very pretty, shiny gold color but rather weak and flimsy. The assembly? Well, that was quite interesting. The provided instructions were extremely vague, I pretty much had to guess how they were connected because looking at the instructions- good luck! I will say, the pieces were each labeled. all but the hardware that is.I really like that it folds up flat and that I can adjust the hooks to my desired height. I will not be able to use this as a painting easel though- I’d be afraid it would fall or tip over.If you’re looking for something to hold a picture or lightweight sign (indoors, where no wind could knock it down) this would be perfect! If you’re looking for something more durable and heavier, this probably isn’t for you.The price is fair if using indoors. Overall, it’s a nice “stand” but nothing more.

The easel looks very nice and decorative. I like that you can adjust it to have different size pictures etc. on there. It could be a little sturdier as it only has a small foot in the back. It took a while to put it together but the instructions were very good. We will be using the easel for my daughter’s wedding to hold a mirror with seating cards.
