I LOVE this rug. Im using it over preexisting carpet in a low traffic area (my room). It’s super soft and cozy, rolls out and lays thick and flat (can’t see through it). The backing is similar to the backing on a bathroom mat, but higher quality. It was affordable for me, didn’t want anything expensive, just something practical, economical, nice to look at, nice feel, quick delivery, and lightweight. This fit the bill. Mine is in beige, the 8 foot one and it is true to size. Id say go for it if you can get it cheap (mine was about $40 at the time of writing on sale, you’re renting, in a dorm, cool with it being a bit slippery, like stuff that has a pleasant skin feel, and don’t want the hassle of a heavy rug. The kids love chilling on this carpet too because it’s very soft and they can scoot around on it easily.

Weird rug! You get what you pay for though, so I'm actually kind of impressed.

This rug is not a rug at all. It is super silky teddy bear fur sewn on top of a layer of foam that is sandwiched between the "teddy bear fur" and a fabric no-slip backing (think Sky Zone socks though. Not traditional no slip backing ) Very interesting. Positives: it is so pretty! It is soft, in spite of being very thin, I even tested it with a quick vacuum, to make sure the "teddy bear fur" did not get sucked up into the spinner, making it impossible to vacuum. It was close. The vacuum struggled a little, but it did work. It is so inexpensive!Negatives: the teddy bear fur is silky, which makes it so slippery. You don't feel it so much when you're wearing shoes, because the weight of our body and the grip of the shoes, but in socks or barefoot that silky fur makes it feel like you could go sliding. My kids actually played, sliding across it. They love it. They can make snow angels. The fur is that long, and definitely leaves marks from their bodies. I was worried that it might be TOO slippery, and that my husband or I might wipe out, walking across it in the dark (it's for our bedroom). I think we will probably be OK though. Weird, weird carpet. You get what you pay for though, and this is kind of impressively soft and good looking for what it is.

Thin but soft

The rugs are beautiful. Same color as the pictures. And it is soft. BUT it's not thick like the picture looks. It's a very thin pad. Supposedly non-slip, but that's not true either. The slip easily. Overall, I'm going to keep them because their cheap. You get what you pay for.

So soft!

I was really nervous buying this rug. The reviews were iffy. It’s been a month now and it’s holding up great!! The color is perfect, it’s so soft to step on. The only thing I’m upset with is I didn’t get a bigger one!! It’s super easy to clean. I haven’t washed it yet, but I think it could definitely go in a washing machine !
