Love These Rugs!!

I got two of these rugs and I love them. I have a long rectangle shaped living room. I wanted to get the size rugs that I know I could wash in my own washing machine. A very long and large rug wouldn't have fit in it. That's the reason I got two of the 5×7 rugs to go across my living room. They are soft. The size is perfect. The color is just as shown in the pictures. Very pretty. The slip resistance could be better. I feel like any dust that would accumulate under the rugs would keep it from being as slip resistant as it should be. I don't know. Dust happens though. I've not had any issues in vacuuming. I have a shark lift-away vacuum. It does just fine and doesn't suck the rug up in it. If you have issues with that happening just set your vacuum on the hard floor setting if your vacuum has that feature since the rug is thin. It works as well. The rug will move depending on what you're doing. My dogs play and can roll it up. But it's not that big of an issue. We walk on it just fine. I got the non slip rug liners that go under these and I like it with or without them. When my dogs are playing They can roll of the rug liner though and that can be frustrating to have to fix. So that's why I say I like it with or without the liners. They do feel more cushy with one under them though since the rugs are thinner. Even though they're thin they are still softer than you think. The thin part helps them to be easier to wash. I wanted rugs that I could wash myself because of my dogs and things that may spill on them or from walking on it. I have had something to spill on it and I was able to clean up the liquid without it leaving a spit. Liquid will sit on top of the material of the rug for just a little bit before it soaks in giving you time to get the liquid cleaned off. However, I'm just happy that it's so much easier to be able to wash my own rugs instead of having to use a rug cleaner. This size fits in my washing machine perfectly and only one at a time. So easy and they wash up nicely. I do not put them in the dryer because I don't want the edges rolling up. I only hang it up to dry. Ive had no issues. The price was great too. I got them on sale. I feel like I got great value for the small amount I spent. I am very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend.

Fancy and Perfect with Stained Glass Lamps

Story time! There was a great sale going on with these quality William Morris design rugs that I was wanting for a studio but realized belatedly that decorating around it was going to be a chore. These lovely arte nouveau lines would likely be in contention with whatever creativity that might transpire. I had tall storage shelves that needed curtains and of course the best thing for a William Morris design match is more William Morris designs. Which there were no sales on those, and considering the functional purposes of the room caused me to reconsider this as the foundation of my decorating efforts there.So I eventually switched to planning the last room of our current design refresh, and when feeling exasperated by budget and options realized this lovely rug would actually do the job. However I was too late to get the matching runner rugs, all sold out by then and nothing else would do at first. Finally the rest of the design fell into place with maximalist luxe faux fur runner rugs in ivory and matching satiny textures. There was already a Tiffany type lamp in the room, so really it should've occurred to me sooner that this rug was meant to be there. This room is separate from the flow of the rest of the house, like the studio also is, with absolute freedom to go after whatever theme is desired but chose to avoid sacrificing overall cohesiveness by sticking to design-adjacent options, such as color (which ranges from deep green to light green and rouge to pink) nature themes or traditional lines.These rugs aren't thick but don't have to be as it serves as a preservation measure for the wall to wall carpeting already present, providing a wear buffer for the flow path and extending the life of the flooring. The size is perfect for the room, it installed easily, was a cinch to open and the fold lines disappeared quickly. I don't recall it having any icky smells. It's very soft and pleasant, feels low key high tone.Overall very pleased with it and that it worked out after all to keep this around. It inspired a jewlbox of posh in the middle of sophisticated and practical, especially welcoming in the room it eventually found it's home in.***Side note, also ordered the more "down to earth" navy floral rug as a juxtaposition to rein in the heaviness of the traditional lodge vibes of our design refresh of the rest of the house. The pop of these cottagecore florals added the playful lightness needed to keep the interiors feeling trendy while traditional, & also creates a layer of cozy lush pattern (this element has been carried through the rest of the room with similar florals in the plates and tablecloth for the dining area of the open floor plan). While our design has rich jewel tones and dramatic tartans, can see this navy floral rug going with playful polka dots and even lacey flourishes. It's a versatile piece that should last a long time.
