These are solid wood, heavy good quality shelves. I bought one set and loved them so I bought a second set. They were easy to install if you have a level and stud finder.They’re are beautiful wood and I’m very happy with them.
This shelf is absolutely beautiful!! Exactly what I was looking for to go above our couch. Easy to install, needed 2 people just because it was so heavy. Definitely worth the money!
Best REAL WOOD floating shelves with a QUALITY MOUNT that I could find on amazon. Yes they cost more money, but to me it was totally worth it. There is nothing I hate more than the cheap particle board wood print that comes in almost every amazon wood item. My goal was to create a cozy, cabin feel in my office and these wooden shelves with the natural edge were perfect. They are a little heavy, so definitely should find some studs to anchor them in, and in addition to that I put in about 4/5 wall anchors per shelf for extra peace of mind. The wall anchors that came with the shelves are horrible (both the plastic and metal ones), so definitely get your own. But the end product looks great and I am very satisfied. I have had cheap wall mounts before for shelves like these that that cause the shelf to angle downward over time, but these feel quality and I am not worried with these. Highly recommend.
These shelves are such nice quality! Each one has a unique live edge and they really look like someone actually made them. I did not end up using the hardware to install the shelves because there wasn’t enough clearance in the closet, but the mounting hardware is strong and heavy duty. I would definitely purchase again.
The shelves are very easy to install. The wood shelf is very heavy and solid construction. It’s not a single piece but it’s also not veneer. The metal brackets are just okay. The welds/brazing appears weak and may crack over time depending on how it’s used. The shelf is not commercial grade for heavy usage but compared to other options, it is a nice light-use and aesthetically pleasing shelf.
The look of the wood shelf is really nice, just as I wanted. The mounting system gives you seven sheet rock anchors per shelf, which is adequate to spread the load of any weight you might put on the shelf. The mounting system is hidden inside the shelf; thus, the "floating shelf". I made sure one of my screws went into a stud for extra strength. One drawback: the sheetrock anchors are not really strong plastic; I broke three whilst screwing them into the wall. Trick: when screwing the anchors into the sheetrock, reverse and back out the anchor a little every turn to relieve the pressure.
Absolutely gorgeous! Worth every penny! Highly recommend this company. Easy to install, very sturdy, lovely wood.
