SOOOO easy to install! I am not a handy person, but I leveled the metal bar and marked the holes with a marker. Drilled holes and in less than 5 minutes both were installed! The books I wanted to display were both paperback and hard cover. Honestly, I was worried that some of the thick heavy ones would be too much for the shelf. I was 100% incorrect, they are unbelievably sturdy. They look stunning, even with all different size books. The shelves are perfect for some of my most prized trinkets and macabre collections.

Love the look! Shelves are sturdy enough for a mix of hard back and paperback books. I used the top shelf for lots of dvds! FYI .. The brackets are shipped inside the wood and a little hard to get out! Instructions didn’t show how to pull them out without harming the wood.

Love, but some restrictions

I love these shelves, however one of the shelves doesn’t have the same stability as the other (both are attached the same way, 1 screw in a stud, 1 screw with the drywall anchors). If both shelves were sturdy, I would give it more stars. I’m planning on putting L brackets under the shelves to make them more solid. Otherwise, easy to set up, looks great, love the size, love being able to get books in view to access easier!

Just Right

These floating bookshelves are great functional decoration pieces that help break up the wall of books. My only irritation is the individual book width limitation the retaining straps place on me, but I succeeded with my selection. (The 6 tier shelving systems, book "trees ", & glass propagation bulbs are also happy little "Zon" finds. )

Don’t do it. Barely hold any weight despite pictures showing pretty substantial books

Absolute garbage. Installed according to directions. weight limitations not given in description. After putting 3 normal sized cookbooks it’s started tilting. Removed the books immediately for fear of more damage to the wall. Now I have two big holes in my wall. Don’t damage your property buying these unless you decide to put magazines in the holder. I am going to have to repair my wall now at a huge expense. Cheap. Poor quality. Property damage. Pain to install.
