It's a touch smaller than I expected but that's no issue. The measurements were listed, so the sizing is a me issue. Otherwise, it is beautiful and looks just as pictured. Good quality and washable, though you do not want to put it in the dryer. Let it hang dry after washing in the wash machine.

Very soft, lightweight, pretty rug

This rug is very, very soft and quite pretty. I ordered it because it is the exact color and size I was looking for and I hadn't been able to find anything else like it.It had a slight odor when I first opened it, but I aired it out for a while and it disappeared within a day or so.This rug is extremely thin and very lightweight. I don't think it is durable enough to vacuum, though the description did say it could be hand vacuumed. The threads are fairly long; I can't imagine they wouldn't get tangled. I definitely wouldn't use a vacuum with a brush, not even a rubber tread brush.This rug is so soft that it is a bit slippery. I would recommend caution when walking on it if you are wearing socks or slippers.I am going to continue searching for a more durable and less slippery rug in this color and size, so I can replace it. It looks great, but I would really like to find something I can let the Roomba clean and I don't have to worry about about falling.

I ordered the gray shaggy rug over 2 years ago and it maintained its shape and looked beautiful. Friends said it added a coziness to the livingroom.I put in the washing machine cold gentle, air dry and it never went to its original shape. I felt I definitely got money's worth out of it and am buying a new one today.My new one just arrive. The backing on this feels thinner. It does not lay flat as the last. It very pretty and sft to the touch. My biggest and surprise....the smell! I left the apartment for 20 minutes. When I came back the smell of ? burnt my eyes and nose. I sprayed with room freshener and (temps in 70s) opened windows and doors. I plan on keeping this item.You wont be disappointed in your purchase, in my opinion.
