So happy with the first two so I bought a second set!

I was impressed with these frames. Especially with how well they were packaged. There's no way they were going to break in shipping! Also the acrylic/plastic clear part came double wrapped in a film that you have to peel off on both sides. The mat was very nice but I was using it for two 8x10 prints so it wasn't needed. There are two different options for hanging...portrait or landscape. The pins that hold the backing on the frame also seem really durable (I've had those pieces break off other frames before). It comes with an odd plastic piece that you nail into your wall to hang the frame. I've seen those pieces on some other canvas prints I recently bought but I hadn't actually used them for hanging yet. I was grateful there were installation steps in the listings photos, otherwise, I don't think I would've gotten it. I'm not sure how I feel about using that as opposed to a nail but I'm sure there's a reason all frames, prints, etc. have been including them.

Basic high-quality plastic frames

I often frame my own photos and sometimes want to print and frame in a large size. The problem with larger frames is the weight: if they're wood and have glass fronts they can get quite heavy. These poster frames solve that problem.The frames are lightweight metal, painted glossy black. I like that the frames aren't too wide (they're only 1/2"). In my view often the frame takes up too much visual space: These do not: they're the way poster frames should be.The fronts are plexiglass. Both sides are covered with protective film, to be removed before use.A very thin mat is provided, which has a very narrow bevel all around. The frames are 16 x 24 and that's the size of the image if not using the mat. The "About this item" info has an inaccuracy. It says that the mat accommodates 14 x 20" images. While that would work, you'd end up losing a lot of the width. The size of the mat opening is actually 10 1/4 x 19 3/8. In my long experience framing, I'd use this for at most a 12 x 20" image; 11 x 20" would work even better because you'd lose less of the image.The frames have rigid backing boards with 10 sturdy holding points that swivel.There are two sawtooth hangers for landscape orientation and one for portrait. These are fixed. On many frames the sawtooth hangers fold down, which I don't care for because they often break. These are much better.Hanging hardware is provided, but I tend to use my own.The frames were packaged with plastic corner protectors and shrink wrapped, which I appreciate.Very good frames for posters: Recommended.

Great frame for that favorite birthday card

I recently received a wonderful card in the mail and wanted a way to display it properly in my home office. After looking around, I settled on this Fixwal 5x7 Picture Frame set, and it worked out perfectly for what I needed.Design and QualityThe first thing I noticed is that the engineered wood is quite light, which makes it easy to handle, but it still looks great on the shelf. It has a nice distressed wood-grain texture that gives it a rustic, vintage feel without being too heavy or bulky.Versatility and FitOne of the best features is the flexibility with the sizing. It comes with a white mat border that’s perfect if you want a more polished look for a 4x6 photo. However, if you need more room in the frame—like I did for my card—you can easily take the border out to utilize the full 5x7 space.Display OptionsI love that these frames give you options for how to show them off:* Tabletop: It has a built-in back stand, which is what I chose to do to prop it up on my shelf.* Wall Mount: It also has the hardware to hang on the wall if I decide to switch things up later.* Orientation: You can use it either horizontally or vertically depending on your photo.Final VerdictFor the price, getting a 2-pack of these is a great deal. Striking look for large art or photos; so easy to hang

Great look. Nice mat. Very clear, flat, plexi. You'll have to decide whether the wood looks good in your location.Received a 2-pack of 16x20 rustic brown frames. The packaging is superior to any large, flat items I have ever received - there are plastic bumpers encompassing both frames, and then they shrink-wrapped the whole thing with fairly thick film. And that whole thing was snugged into a cardboard box. There isn't a ding or scratch anywhere on either frame.The wood part of the frame is fairly thin compared to the overall size, which gives the mat a striking look. The included mat didn't have any burrs or imperfections, just a nice straight line on all of the cuts.Each frame is lightweight. So much so that the included hanger is plastic with a few pins on the back. I would never have thought to hang such a large frame with a few pins like that, but it works. Very easy to hang using the included nubbin thing.So overall, not sure I could find such a good looking frame at this price anywhere else. The only stumbling block for me is the way they painted the wood part. Not my favorite look, but now that the frames are on the wall, I barely notice. No doubt these will last and look just as striking for many years.
